CHAW!! ") Hey bruh, keep going, never surrender! I was a pro rock then metal lead vocalist/writer/rhythm guitar over 25 years!! We had two lead guitar players who were absolutely smoking! I became deathly ill and battled between life and death for over 3 months, then I was home for one day and had to go back for another month and it took over two years to recover and get back to where I was before the health fell apart. That's when I made the painful decision, I couldn't stay in the band because my health was sketchy and I could end up in the hospital at any time and I just couldn't hold the guys up, and so they were pissed at first but they eventually came around, that is all except for one. The only person in that band who refuses to even e-mail me, is the one guy from that band who actually got an audition with Three Day's Grace and GOT THE JOB!! Today, Barry Stock is a multi millionaire, and is famous with thousands upon thousands of fans! I hear great potential in your playing bruh, and being in the life for so long I've met and even jammed with some absolute monstrous guitar players who can play literally any style! The other lead guitarist is my closest friend, we've known each other over 30 years. His name is Dave and our bass player, who was the very best bass player I've even heard had a father who was one of the top Elvis impersonators in the world. When one of the guitar players broke his arm, and so he told his son to ask Dave to fill in, and Dave had to learn the entire list in two days, which he pulled off making it look easy! He can play literally any style! Great players sacrificed a lot of their social life, rarely going out and would play for hours, from the minute they woke up till well after dark! Take Yngwie Malmsteen for example. He did an interview with Rick Beato you should watch, it's on RU-vid. Here's one of the absolute greatest players in history! Beato asked him how he became so incredibly fast and how he incorporated the great classical composers such as my personal favourites, Rachmaninoff, he also loved Beethoven, Bach and on and on. He went into great detail and it blew my skull off! He basically practised every time he had free time. So, here's one of the undisputed monsters of metal also telling us if you want to be on top with guitar you have to have that level of dedication! Depending on what goals you have, you can emulate the true greats, or, if you're playing for enjoyment, then do what you can bruh, I understand how difficult it is for any one these days to take time off work or other obligations and putting food on the table and feeding, caring for and protecting family is also a full time job!! Have you ever owned or played full hollow body or semi hollow body axes bruh? I had an Epiphone Casino full hollow body and it shocked not only myself but all my friends who also played were just stunned at how versatile the Casino was. The two P90s were absolutely killer!! They sound like true rock and roll and almost seem like their have a bad attitude, in a good way!! LOL! If you even get a chance to play one, do so you will not regret it. Once you've played a Casino you'll have no choice but to buy one!! I'm an old g dawgie and a real Beatles fan which is why I had to have a Casino, the Beatles used their Casinos on almost every single album and Lennon particularly used his Casino all through his solo career! While I'm talking Epiphone, I'm not alone is believing they became superior or, in the least, just as good as their daddy Gibson, with stupid prices and piss poor Q.C. So, I've played everything from Beatles, to blues rock and delta blues and even metal! I had a string bust during a live performance and my guys very quickly took it to restring and handed me the Casino!! I said "I'm not playing Don't Talk To Strangers (DIO) on this bro, what are you doing!!? It was the only guitar that was restrung and tuned and so I had no time to lose and plugged her and I was absolutely floored!! This axe is like the "one ring to rule them all"!! So, apologies for the lengthy comment, take care my brother!! Jack ~'()'~ *NEVER SURRENDER*!!!

@@bronzesnake7004 Just read the whole comment bro, thanks a lot of the inspirational story! I have a vintage Japanese hollowbody from the 70's but it's currently in need of maintenance. I guess once I have enough money I'll get it fixed. 🤘🤘

hey I know this might sound odd but you should try learning some chords that would incorporate using your thumb on your fretting hand. you have massive hands that are built for that type of stuff and it would benefit you a lot if you mastered throwing that into your playing.

Nice sound on that awesome... Do you listen to guitarist like Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, John 5 is a mad one also there is Michael Angelo Baito, and also another awesome guitarist is Tosin Abasi

@@darkshaman7087 I used to listen to Yngwie yearrrrsss ago. The only other one out of those guys you mentioned is Steve Vai, and unfortunately only one song. Was never big on guitar Gods outside of Tony Iommi, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton & Jimmy Page. I've only recently started listening to Randy Rhodes' stuff with Ozzy!

@@kadeemward you listen to some great guitarists, all Zakk Wylde is another good one that played for Ozzy, also Rhodes was another great guitarist, I like some of Ozzy's older music such as Shot in the Dark etc and when with Black Sabbath, also he sung for Gary Moore on the After the War album. I seen a few bands over the years at the Donington park rock festival but still a few miles to travel as i'm from Wales, the loudest band that I seen there was Slayer they was awesome.

@@kadeemward they were awesome I think the concert was 1992 and Iron Maiden was the main band, also Skid Row, Thunder, WASP and The Almighty was there, but during when Slayer was playing Concord the jet plane flew over and I could not hear the music or even the crowd as the sound of its engine drowned all sounds out it was an unbelivable experience and then as the plane went further away the sound gradually came back, anyway all my best to you and keep playing away there
