My only hesitation with this as a modular portable carpet cleaning setup is that these are all small casters, making this very heavy and cumbersome to have to carry up 3-4 flights of stairs for apartments...
We do not make these with other wheel options, but after-market upgrades to the wheels should be possible. The casters actually make for a pretty easy to roll around machine on flat surfaces, and the unit is only about 50 lbs., making it easier to lift up and carry up stairs than almost any other machine that's out there. Keep in mind also that dual LX's can run 150'-200' of hose, so you may not even need to take it up stairs quite so often.
is the version 1 air hog with attached lint hog still available? I prefer that one cuz I can remove lint hog for the portable or the air hog + air hog combo for truckmount waste water pump out to 1st floor's toilet.
Unfortunately the original style air hog is no longer available! The modern style is much much stronger but required we move the lint hog filter to an external housing.
The one with the metal ring or the sock filter? The one with the ring is placed over the APO inlet, this makes cleaning the APO filter easier you just pull it off clean it and replace it. The sock filters go in the vacuum hose line or in an external filter like our lint hogs. To install it in the vacuum hose line insert the back end into the machine through the front vacuum port, stretch it over the cuff, and twist the vacuum hose's cuff into place over it to hold it there.
@@myteeproducts Thank you very much for this. I was talking about the metal ring and I got it in place today. Thank you. Ill have to get the lint hog next.
Air hog is just a strong wet vac essentially. There’s an auto dump feature on the air hog. The water hog the water pump and tank that pairs with this has an auto fill function.
@@jaredketchmark1217 thx! You could pair with water otter? If your not familiar it's about the size of shoe box 1200psi external pump. Just thought of this versus another "hog" like machine to keep things minimal.
What Jared said is correct, there isn't a clean solution tank on the Air Hog to auto-fill, that feature would be found on its counterpart the Water Hog. The water otter is also a viable compliment to the Air Hog, it is actually the same exact pump used in the Water Hog, but without the tank and the ability to use chemical injection
