Out Of The Box - A RMEF Film 

Bought my wife an X-Bolt Long Range laminate in 6.5 Creemoore last year. Shot MOA groups right out of the box with cheap factory ammo. I have developed a couple of loads and replaced the trigger with a Timney. Have it dialed down to about 2 pounds and now shooting 3/4 MOA no problem. Really like the rifle.

What model scope is that. I'm currently running a vortex PST gen 2 viper but I like the way that scope functions

Personally I can't understand why Browning went and stopped major production on the A-Bolt. As far as I'm concerned it is was and still is the very best Browning has ever made bar none. I own over 15 A-Bolts and am still purchasing more when I can find the ones I want still in box new on Gunbroker and other gun sites. I will never spend anything on an X-Bolt. I've tried it and it was nothing near the gun the A-Bolt is. I know that's the opinion of just one man but to me my opinion counts. What would be really nice i if Browning would get out of their comfort zone for once and allow customers to special order custom features on their rifles. I am a huge fan of the.260 Remington and have several of them in various A-Bolts from Hunter to Stainless Stalker to White Gold Medallion. The one I would really like to have would be a regular A-Bolt Medallion in .260 Remington with a 26 inch medium Heavy Barrel and the good old BOSS on it. That would be the best A-Bolt I would have if that were possible. I know Browning can do it, they just choose to remain cookie cutter production every day, the same old routine as most every one else. Choose to be different, you might like it and I can guarantee your customers will love it. There is nothing better than getting a Browning that is special and that's what Browning has always lacked. Just because one purchases a product it doesn't mean they are 100% happy with it. But unfortunately in life we are sometimes forced to settle for the better of all the evils. And that is Browning's A-Bolt. A great rifle that could in so many ways be better.
