I was very sad to hear that the trolls almost go to you. I have learned so much from your playing and your taste in music mirrors mine very closely. You do more for us struggling guitar players then you will ever realize. Keep up the fantastic lessons and on behalf of us non-posters but ardent followers thank you.
This is by far the best channel on RU-vid. Really glad you’re doing this. It’s been wonderful during pandemic. Very smart instruction technique! Great for “players”. Thank you James James.
Im so used to the Chris Farlowe version of this song which is a great cover version by the way, this original has escaped me!, great lesson as always...PS...glad you're still around mate ! thanks for all the tunes.
Thanks for creating a new channel, I have always enjoyed your video's, you are a very talented guitar player, you have taught me a great many songs, I appreciate your time , , many thanks :)))
James James I think it was just the Chris Farlowe version with Jagger's vocals laid on top. No other Stones involved. A real Allen Klein cash-in. And yet, can't say I don't love it.
Hey JJ, what's the story on that pink paisley tele I've seen you play many times? Its a beaut. Is that a one-off? I recently bought my first tele and I love the neck. Chunky-ness approaches an LP.
love the song but i swear if you know one stones song you can figure out the rest lol does keith ever use different chord shapes? thanks for the lesson!
This may seem a bit screw-ball, but, That background, feedback guitar on Jigsaw Puzzle? How the heck do you get that tone so smoothly? Can you get that out of your Marshall? I've always like it. Is that one of those things you can only get at huge volume?
James James Hmm, well I'll wait for a moment when wife and kids aren't home and see If I can get that with my strat and AC15? I still think it's a slide guitar in the bkgnd, but the few times I've been loud enough to get feedback... never sounded like that! I'll try and video it if I succeed.
deedubslite I got it. We're both right. It was a "Mellotron". A keyboard that plays prerecorded tapes for each key/pitch. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mellotron. Also, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jigsaw_Puzzle_(song). I hear a piano in the right channel, but I hear this in the left, at various places in the song.
