Thanks bro, yea it’s just a Kraton chassis, I got a second Kraton from my buddy Victor so I turned it into that thing. I’m finishing up the body so it looks proper.
Nice launches! I have 3 of them 2 8s and a 12s. The 8s max5 and hobbystar 980kv with 25 21 mod1.5 vitavon gears is my favorite grab and go set up. Rocket Ship 🚀
Thanks! Nice! I want to give 12s a rip so bad! But unfortunately I’ve got a few things going against me. I’ve got 4 all running the v1 Max5. I’ve heard mixed results on running the v2 ESC with the first motor. And I’m too cheap to drop the coin on a full combo plus the additional 2 batts just yet. Im super budget oriented so that means lots of my rigs are used. I’m picking up an additional two 8s here shortly from a buddy leaving the hobby. As for my go-to combo, I’m able to run the 1100kv geared up and not have heating issues, I run 39/33 in an Outcast and so she’s super peppy and responsive. I’ve got a 780 I’ve got no plans to out in anything- too low but that 980 sounds like a good middle ground. Are you doing speed runs on 12s or bashing?
@StraitJacketRC Man, thanks for the reply! Once the rain here in CA, let's up and the ground drys up, want to get out and try for the 100 mph off road goal I have set for myself. I turned one of my 8s outcast's into a 1/5 infraction with Rofun on road f5 tires max5 v1. Fun parking lot drifter! Just going slow on taking big jumps yet. Keep up your awesome videos!
