Are you not ready to stop wearing any of these shoes? Which ones? Any of these shoes you've NEVER worn? For me, its the last ones....never ever ever, in any form no thank you 🙂😂
😅😅I find these videos funny because I’m gonna wear whatever looks good on me. The fact that people live and die by what’s deemed “in style” or “out of style” is really ridiculous. Literally, life is way to short to care about this silly crap😂😂
I’ve always worn clogs since the 90’s even when they are not on trend. I’m 49 and my style has always been kinda boho. Clogs look so cool If you style them in a retro/vintage 70’s way. But if that’s not your style you may feel weird. But it’s very much my comfort zone. :)
Is anyone besides me getting tired of being told every year that I need to get rid of the clothes and shoes that I paid good money for, that I like, that are still in good shape and are functional in my daily life?
I wasn't planning on coming to the comments, but I agree with everything, EXCEPT... Flip flops aren't supposed to be an every day shoe, I don't wear them at all anymore, BUT I wouldn't fight someone on the beach, or by the pool, because they are making a flip flop sound. SECONDLY, Round toe shoes are never out, square toe and pointed toes shoes come and go, but rounded is always and forever, they are most conformed to our actual feet, and cause the least amount of squishing. Calling round toes out of fashion is like saying sneakers are out of fashion... There has to be some forever styles and some that are strictly fashion.
Oh no, I absolutely don’t mind other people wearing flip flops in whatever situation they want I just personally don’t love wearing them bc I don’t like listening to the sound and also I just feel like they are just meh…there are other sandal choices that are better imo. As for the round toe, I guess they are timeless in a sense, but I haven’t worn one probably since 2012 and I really don’t see anyone whose style I personally admire wear them either…haven’t seen them on a runway in I can’t remember how long…they are dated looking. I feel like an almond toe is more of a timeless, elegant style than round bc they are more elongating without being too pointy. The comparison between a toe style in a shoe that can be applied to several different types of shoes (heels, flats, sling backs, etc) to a sneaker is also not quite right, because yes sneakers are always in fashion, but certain types of sneakers do come and go out of fashion, much like certain types of shoes that could have a round toe might come and go out of fashion bc of the style features of them. Heels will always be in fashion, just like sneakers, but round toe heels will come and go, much like sneakers will always be in fashion but for example, a platform sneaker style will come and go.
All the summer- autumn trends are very Y2K. I remember in that era 😂 I myself wore all sorts of pointy heels of different variations. They sure piched/bleed/blister my fourth toes! I love the kitten heels in everything back in Y2k but won't be wearing them as I realize they don't do me justice in a 152cm frame 😢
@@therecessionista6271 same with the sanuks they’re so similar my husband has had a pair for years and Im like you can wear those when you go out by yourself but not with me 🤪
I must admit that I still love leather boat shoes. The purpose of them is the white sole that does not leave marks on the boat and they can be non slip so you don’t slip and fall. I’m a GenX preppy girl at heart, but I wouldn’t wear boat shoes unless I was on a boat or in a coastal town. And I will always love a classic wedge shoe. So comfy! I can’t, however, stand the square toe Mary Jane style of flat. I’m short and curvy and that style looks awful on me. It’s all about finding the styles that elongate the leg for me!
Ok, that makes sense! Thank you for explaining that to me! And, it totally makes sense to wear them in a boat/coastal town...that's where their use is actually practical
I wear white leather sneakers all the time...classic and never out of style. I do like those DV sneakers and am going to check those out in a neutral color. Love ballet flats and will be picking up a pair this fall. Pointed toe slingbacks...Meh. Been there done that in the 90's and while I loved them back then, they don't appeal to me at all now. Maybe because I pretty much only wear flats now (with the exception of block heeled boots) in my 50's. I like western and moto boots. Boots and sneakers are my thing. No to clogs!!
I wish influencers would quit telling people to wear what they like when the whole purpose of their video is to highlight ugly, outdated products that they shouldn’t wear!
Haha! I still like the clear sandal but agree they get cloudy looking. What about the lug sole loafer? I have a pair but getting ready to donate. Are they out of style? Also, what is the pretty lipstick you are wearing?
I still like lug sole loafers, but I think I’m seeing more classic style, more slim profile loafers more lately! This is just me and I’m admittedly a bit of a clothing hoarder, but I’d keep them bc they will be back 😅 my lipstick is actually a lip liner from MAC, in the color soar, it’s my goto everyday color. I usually put on a little bit of sparkly gloss on top :)
🌸🌸🌸When you said that you had arthritis in your right foot, I literally laughed out loud as I too have it in my right foot!! Not that is funny but it’s just a random coincidence. Lovely video GF🌸🌸🌸
lol it’s so funny to me like why only that foot? Both feet get abused equally I feel like? 😂😂 have you found anything that helps your foot pain? I’ve started taking turmeric supplements to help with inflammation so we shall see if that helps
@@MissMooreStyle voltaren cream seems to be the best but you have to rub it in till you can’t move your hands anymore ( not like lotion) but ya it sucks! I bought the cutest Diorj’adior sling back kitten heels thinking “oh I can do those”……omg I look like a newborn giraffe! Can barely walk in them! Ps, they are super cute and from target! Enjoy your weekend GF! 🌸🌸🌸
