Washing tripe!
Tripe has to be washed thoroughly until the water is clear. I used, vinegar, baking soda and lemons in the process. This helps to clean and it takes out the funk😀
You can even soak them overnight after washing to make sure it’s completely clean.
Preboiling!2-3hrs
Use herbs when preboiling for aroma and flavors.
After preboiling let the tripe cool down and then pack it in freezer bags. You can also choose to wet fry, dry fry or make a soup then freeze it.
