Summertime is BBQ Season. In Texas, that means Smokers and Grilling.
In this video I demonstrate how you can easily frame out an outdoor kitchen yourself and save pile of cash in the process. I always like an excuse to buy a few new tools as well.
2.5" X8' metal studs

I am surprised that you used the light-weight studs (25 guage) when other project videos I have watched use heavier 20 guage, which is special-order where I live. This especially interesting since you are using a kamado and concrete countertop. If it works for you, maybe I will try the commonly available 25 guage studs.

yeah, the strength is in compression be sure to make sure your vertical parts go the entire height. and your plan supports keeping those vertical components straight and true. once you get the Hardie backer board installed, it is quite sturdy I have completed the stone veneer, and still working on grout. I will do a follow up video on the completed project
