It's nice to see this video and Red35 Jimmy feature portrait photography for OM-SYSTEM. I like the lane you have for wildlife and macro but it's good to show the other types of photography to consider the brand for.

It looks like olympus cameras can be used for more than make birdsphotography.

Wondering why you took vertical shots without using the vertical grip part of the camera? You seemed to be shooting in portrait mode the way you would with the non-gripped cameras... Cheers Kevin

I see you went from 60% to 16% battery. I'm considering the E-M1X as a wedding/all day portrait body. But that drop in battery from TWO batteries is frightening - that's a poorer performance than what I'm currently getting for similar shoots using the E-M1 MII...

One of the most value camera in 2024. Under $1000 and I got it for video only. The build quality destroys the Gh5, a similarly priced camera for video.

My (used) Mx arrive about a week ago. I have a 45mm F1.8, probably close enough. The fire, though, could get me arrested. Absolutely forbidden, its wildfire season.

I bought an Olympus camera because I thought Olympus made quality equipment. How wrong I was! I have only used the tilted screen on a couple of dozen occasions and it has already gone faulty with a known issue. Olympus should have recalled all the cameras and replaced the part for free even if the camera was out of warranty as the issue is down to faulty parts/poor design. I will not be buying Olympus again.

Why don't you use lens hoods? Not very professional.
