Outdoor Running Session 08/11/2021

An old running session this week, thanks for a hectic work schedule and lack of reliable dry weather! Featuring in this cloudy session is my (then) latest loco, my Bachmann H1 Atlantic ‘La France’ in LBSC umber livery, running with my rarely seen but newly repaired Pullman coaches (which still need the lights looking at since they flicker constantly) running alongside 73141 and 73205 heading my rake of JNA falcon wagons, 43300 and 43310 using a bit of modeller’s license running with my New Measurement Train mk3s, my BR Blue 33 heading a mixed rake of NSE mk2s and mk1s and finally 67013 top and tailing a test train with 67002 (I’ve since weathered and detailed both these locos). Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, though the leaves were colourful I always felt this video was a little grey, but glad the trains bought some light to it! I do love that 33 and my NSE mk2s seem to always be running, so maybe I should run that combo again soon. Haha yes I think he did! Thankfully it has no trouble negotiating the mighty slope of the patio railway 😉 Hopefully I’ll be able to film some new running sessions soon, and maybe even let La France stretch her legs again in the summer sunshine. Thanks very much! Glad you enjoyed it, and the different music. Glad you liked the mix of locos that ran too, it was a little different to the normal stars of the outdoor running sessions. I don’t know why but this seems somehow more believable than actual layout as there’s nothing to distract the eye from the trains. Great music this week TJ👍. Double 73s on engineering 👍👍👍 That big old steamer, was that a Caledonian loco ? Got a bit jealous when the network rail HST combo came through!!! Bachmann NSE mk2 and mk1s with the Crompton👍👍👍 THEN the skips took over the NR yellows. Top session, glad I finally got chance to watch the whole thing through 😀😀😀👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍

Thanks very much! That’s very kind! Glad you enjoyed the video, and the music too since that was livelier than I usually pick for these sort of videos! I do like that Bachmann H2 (I think, I’m awful at steam trains these days!), very smart and very detailed. Glad you liked the NR HST too. I’ve been after some proper powercars for that rake but Hornby HSTs are silly money nowadays! Maybe one day I’ll repaint my existing powercars into NR Yellow 🤔 Those skips at the end are quite topical since I’ve just finished weathering and detailing the arriva blue one, so I’m sure it’ll appear again in the next session.
