In this video we show the process of building a cabin kit from BZB Cabins and Saunas. We ordered the Allure XS sauna, although other kits offered follow a similar build style. Unfortunately we ran into many issues along the way and hope this video helps avoid possible problems for others. That being said, the company has great costumer service and we have been loving our outdoor sauna. The wood stove used is the Harvia M3.
Here is a link for a video we found especially helpful when installing the wood stove: • Harvia M3 Wood Burning...

Very nice! It'll be great in winter when you can run out and jump in the snow for a free cold plunge!

Did you have to send the old kit back?

We didn’t have to actually. It was too warped to be any use to them, but we were able to repurpose the boards for our sheep pens!

How has it held up in the cold temps? Would you buy again?

It’s held up very well this winter. We would definitely buy it again. We live in a very high wind area and it’s solid enough to withstand it.

@@salomeacreshomesteadreally appreciate the response and your video. I've been mulling over kits for like 6 months :)

@@RamshackleReels Yeah, we looked around for a long time before deciding on this one. Just for reference, in warm weather it takes 20-30 minutes to get to 160. In cold weather, it can take 40-45 minutes. With the fire really going, it gets up to 180. I would highly recommend putting on shingles or a metal roof like we did to make it water tight. Good luck!
