This is my first siren comp so it is a little short and it's not perfect so I apologize for that. Credit to the users mentioned in the video. Credit to @CentralOHSirens and @sirenfreak57 for the outro stuff

That Whelen Vortex is literally the sound of my childhood. Every single Wednesday at noon, they'd test these. They'd use the hi/lo for flooding emergencies (when the dam upstream was exceeding capacity and they were releasing MASSIVE amounts of water)
I lived near a nuclear power plant for pretty much my entire life. Those Whelen Vortexes would be tested quarterly, and I remember being in school thinking rhey were right next to the school. You'd hear the mechanical voice, the dialup, and then eventually the siren. No clue where they were actually installed, but that sound travelled for miles
Remember the video when the tornado sirens harmonized? That's the basic siren for it 😂 7:41 For those who don't know the video: ru-vid.compap4GsOIrpQ?si=5K0vFn7v9s1kOZ_W
@@KawaiiHippityHop-cl5bbThe P50 is called like that by Tornado Siren Madness. The name is a joke by the show's characters as he kinda looks like it. (Personally for me is like a trash can fr)
Idk what are collected rings but does collector rings make a siren turn around in full 360? Whelen don't have them cuz they have wires so they only spin like 180??
