Outeniqua Power Van CC was established in the early 2000’s by Nicol Marais, ex Principle of George South Primary. Nicol had a passion for the greater George area and was looking for idea’s to keep him busy during his early retirement from his education profession. Outeniqua Power Van CC or also known as Powervan was born, by acquiring old service trolleys/vehicles from Transnet and also negotiating an access agreement with Transnet for the use of the rail between George to Oudtshoorn and George to Mossel Bay.
