the character moves a lot more like a human, and we got enemies, spikes, lava, and whatnot. pretty interesting contrast compared to other iterations with jack shit in it. the room at 7:05 feels like it could be a QR code?? i don't know, the border sqware thingies aren't there. also another thing to note: they have the machine gun, the spur, and the nemesis, which are p much impossible at the same time. and the wishing star??. also the blade, which (maybe) implies that king's dead come to think of it, has a level 3 blade ever been used in these iterations? have we seen king's ghost sprites? wait LAST CAVE TILESET??? WHUH??????? I THINK THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THEY'VE EVER BEEN USED IN ONE OF THESE as you can tell i'm writing this as i'm watching the video lol. pretty interesting that the player knew that the towers seemingly shared the same map and you can jump from one to the other. they either made this map or they knew about it, bc there's no way a normal person would take a leap of faith like that also MORE THAN 100 HEALTH???
Cave Story this is a youtube series meant to be supposed lost recordings of early versions these aren't actual beta builds, but they're heavily based on footage of existing ones definitely play Cave Story though, it's a great time
