After just six weeks as the British prime minister, Liz Truss resigned on October 20, 2022, becoming the UK’s shortest-serving prime minister. She will remain at 10 Downing Street in a caretaker role until a successor is chosen. Truss joins a list of world leaders with brief tenures, but while she is now the UK’s shortest-serving prime minister, her 45 days in office was still comparably longer than many others.

Former prime ministers are able to claim up to almost $130,000 a year in expenses under what is known as a “Public Duty Cost Allowance.”Sir John Major, Sir Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron, and Theresa May have all also claimed the allowance since departing from Downing Street.

To those outside of UK, let me tell you she is a terrible PM. She is out of her depth and u can see it clearly with the way she handled the economy. Look at how she conducted herself in past government posts and you will see what I mean. A few thousand members voted her because she said she'll do what they want. She thought she's implementing the policies of the country but forgets that the members are out of touch from the wider society and the money markets in the first place and that's why this saga exploded into chaos.
