The show, as the book, is told from Claire's POV, so anything she doesn't understand, we don't either. Gaelic is the language at that time & she doesn't understand it.
Great reaction, and so nice to see someone going into watching this completely blind. I have not watched this show in a while, but you reminded me how much I loved the first few seasons and it is awesome to watch you watch Outlander while waiting on Bridgerton.
Thank you for your reaction , I was excited to see it. It wouldn't do for the laird who is top guy to allow an English person to walk around the castle freely ,but, she's not locked in.😊❤
You will love this show!!! Lots of strong women, gays, all the things. It takes its time and allies things to breathe and to build… so worth it!!!!And speaking of HIT, episode 7 is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm so happy to have found your reaction to this show...it's my favorite:) I think you'll be surprised with it & fall in luv too. You may just get what you wish for 😉
Hahaha!!!! Your introductory words were so familiar to me... many a late night binge ;) Don't worry, most of your questions and wishes will be answered. I won't say more, don't want to spoil it.
Great reaction 😊 two things to remember with this show is it gets really dark (so be prepared) and that nothing is said or shown without reason so pay attention to the little things they may come back to mean alot more later.
You should read the books. I was reading them when I was pregnant with my oldest, and named her after a character. Not Claire, you won't meet this character until next season. 😊 Fair warning. Frank was made much nicer for the show, so you'll have a lot of book readers hating on him. Show Frank is somewhat sweet and nice. Book Frank is a nasty petty b@stard. 🤷♀️😂
wow, that's incredible. that character must make a real impact 💙. and that's good Frank context to have. thank you! I think I'm going to read the books after the show (but we'll see if I can stay away from them that long).
We all waffle around about her husband Frank after meeting Black Jack Randal. Frank never does anything wrong. He's strong for her and supportive and truly loves her. But Black Jack hasn't done his worst yet.
okay, I'm glad it's a shared experience. and yikes on black jack... but from what little I've already seen, I can imagine him being absolutely terrible.
You're not really going to see outright gays here (ehem this is 17th century) but there are strong women characters here. You just need to remember that this is the time where men have higher standing than women.
