Everyone said Jamie didn’t have enough of a reaction but he did when he saw his girls his face was so overloaded with emotion, and pride it was such amazing acting I cried just out right balling seeing them all together.
I loved how happy Claire was when she saw Brianna and the fact that Brianna was able to be with both of her parents for the first time in her life since Claire was pregnant with her the last time Brianna was with both of her parents.
I watch this clip repeatedly. There is everything in these moments.....from the look of shock on Claire's face upon recognizing her daughter, 200 years from where she last saw her.....her daughter running to her and the sheer joy from holding her child again...priceless.
You're lucky I'm still waiting for it to air in a couple of hours.... watching these clips are great but frustrating at the same time.... it's been a few years since I last read the whole series so I remember most of what should happen but I can't wait to see how it was interrupted for the tv series...
I can honestly say their interpretation was great. Jaime's reaction was beautiful especially when he says "as my babe" (which I don't remember if it was in the book, if not it was a perfect addition). I loved this episode. Watched it 3 times and the only other episode I did that with was the Wedding Episode.
@@triciabarr4620 either way Jaime saying it to Bree in that moment was perfect!! Exactly what she needed to hear when she had been so broken and hurt. A bit of reassurance from family. Sam does a tremendous job capturing Jaime's feelings.
I'm silently screaming the whole time. Finally. The only scene I've been waiting for since I read the books. Well it's with Jamie first then Claire. Amazing look on Jamie's face.
I love how Claire drops her basket at around 0:12 to hug Brianna, I could almost see my mom doing the same if we were were somehow in a similar situation :)
I read the book and I can honestly say the interpretation was as perfect as they could get it. When Jaime and Bree go hunting it's a perfect bonding moment. You will love the episode
THIS SCENE KILLED ME (in a good and loving way) MORE than Brianna meeting her father Jamie xD ... Im going to start watching season 4 now... I just got finished with season 3, lol. I was not sure about it, but since I've heard that Brianna meet Jamie, I was sure she would see her mother again too. And I HAD to watch Claire and Brianna reunite xD
I think so too! I mean, Brianna meeting Jamie is a beautiful moment, but it's like "girl meets father for the first time". It happens. But this moment is everything. Claire's face is so... wow
I have the Starz app on my phone, and I couldn't for the life of me watch that part of the show!!! WHY!!! I waited the entire season for that moment, and I still had to watch it on RU-vid!! Thanks RU-vid!!!
I just some how expected something much more . This whole season 4 just didn't work for me , but I had a real struggle reading book too. But I love my Outlander books . Have read all twice , I sure can not wait till book 9 comes , and I'm still looking for a rock circle 💕 to touch for my own Highlander 💕. 😘✌️
I don’t know why but this is even more powerful than the Claire-Jamie reunion to me. Of course, I was so excited to see those two reunite at the printshop, but I literally could not stop crying when I first saw this scene. Maybe it’s because they’re mother and daughter - or maybe because this was straight after when Bri was just raped.
I always have to think about what Brianna went through before this and how she was in dire need of her mother. In traumatic situations you go back to being a child and need nothing more than your mom
Guys I know I shouldn’t be here because I haven’t seen the show and this is a massive spoiler but is outlander worth watching Ive only seen some eps in season 1 and it is kind of slow at the moment but I just want people’s advice on whether I should start watching it
