Carol, I'm with you but don't count on it. Those shows anymore are a bunch of garbage. All of them, that's why I don't watch them anymore. But the winners still come up on my tablet.

The feels I get from the scene with Murtagh and Jaime in the cell reminiscing on Claire 😭....I’m so happy they kept him alive in the series so that we can see him meet Bree. I feel like it was his journey as well as J&C. Like a grandfather meeting his granddaughter

Haven't gotten to that part yet but with this show I don't mind spoilers. I'm sobbing so hard. I can't wait to get to that part. I just found it on Netflix and on Starz I'm up to the part where Claire returns and Jamie passes out.

Hopping around RU-vid - see this - 7 minutes later I'm in tears. That is the power of this phenomenal series. I was already a massive Diana Gabaldon fan but didn't watch the tv version because I worried that it would spoil 'my' Jamie and Claire. Eventually I gave in and I'm so glad I did. Sam IS my Jamie and so much more. He is perfection and so is Catriona's Claire. Love it SO much. Can't wait for Season 7!

Jacque Bowling I watched the 4 seasons, then read the books 5-8! What a difference for me having these characters so visually in my mind! Watching the tv series will only enhance your visual perception reading the books!

Robert Downs! Weird! I thought exactly the same thing, that It was Murtagh and for the same reason. As their protector. That is until DG said it was the ghost of Jamie. I still don't think she has an explanation yet for that scene, that's why we won't know until the end of the show "10th book", her words which gives her plenty of time to think of one. As for going off the rails, I do that a lot but I call mine my soapbox. I'm thinking I'm way older than you. Have a great day.
