My husband, hasn’t read the books, and I have, and we have very different perspectives on Malva!

I'm still reading through the first book, but I don't at all mind spoilers... *hint, please?*

@@rowanaforrest9792 Think Laoghaire…only much darker Malva is essentially what would happen if you took Laoghaire and made her a sociopath instead of just a broken-hearted teenager with anger issues

@@rowanaforrest9792 I'll just tell you about Malva's mother. She and Tom Christie had Alan before Culloden. When Tom went to prison with Jamie the mother slept with his brother who was also married and had Malva with him. Then she killed him. So Tom being the very religious man that he is that's why he said that she had a dark soul. I'm not going to tell you what happens with the Christie's this season cause i don't want to spoil it for you. But it's really dark.

When I was an early teen (vinyl-8 tracks), I remember telling a friend I wish we could have a record player in our cars so we could listen to whatever song we wanted to listen to. I guess other, more knowledgeable people, were thinking the same thing. 😂

@@G-grandma_Army Ah....you were ahead of your time! You just reminded me that when I was around 10 I fantasized about one day having a machine attached to the TV set that could record a program or movie to watch later. Had to wait 15 years or so for VCRs to be invented!

Well from what i remember from the books is true to life in those times v superstitious fisherfolk who scared of papists like jaimie and then tom christie who is jealous of jaimies leadershio with the men at all times and has a different religion and then ill leave it there

@@camillabarclay4049 lots of fights between people and/or governments that have a different religion. It is time to come together and try to understand and respect each other, because this is the problem in the world, history has proven it and still is

He hasn't heard the buzzing. So I don't think it's possible for him. Unless a protection stone aids in the process of actaully hearing the stones...it's that's true then maybe but, I don't think he can

Hold on in there i remember finding books five amd six v hard to read but seasin seven and eight gets more action and lively

But then you have been watching the wrong show. Overcoming these constant challenges and hardships of living in a brutal premodern time period with a strong sense of community, loyality and family bond to me is kind of the essence of show that makes it so interesting. I admit they overdo the all the rape trauma for cheap drama though.

The only people who post stuff like this are people looking for attention It’s like people announcing to RU-vid creators that they are unsubscribing… It’s nothing but attention seeking. This individual has made multiple comments on multiple Outlander videos complaining about the same thing. No one paid any attention to them in their previous one’s. So I expect they decided to keep posting until they got the attention they craved. And btw Cora…if you don’t want people replying to the comments you post….. You should probably stop commenting on RU-vid.

I'm sure they will loss sleep about you announcing your departure. You're taking every day REAL situations that happen all time...1000 years to present and acting like the show is only focused on those things. Like another commenter said, you're watching the show all wrong and for you to be aggressive towards another comment because they gave an opinion on your comment is uncalled for, seeing how you did the exact same thing commenting on the show lol. You sound entitled, an always right type person, maybe a little narcissistic, give it but can't take it kind of person, your opinion is the only one that matters... if you didn't want a reply or opinions....then why comment in the first place? It is a COMMENT section after all!!!
