A stunning and heartwarming recall on how Jamie met Claire, one of my favourite seasons out of many memorable ones, what an excellent song choice it brought tears to my eyes, I’m a great fan of the late Whitney Houston but this amazing tribute version by ‘Saeed’ is astonishing, thank you 🙏 for one of the most emotional takes on ‘Outlander’ I have seen in a long while, 🥰🥀🤗
You are such a talented romantic and your sensitivity here shows. This one is my favorite so far. I'm sobbing over it. I love them much - I love their love. Here at the very beginning when they met their destiny - the romance of it all is breathtaking. And you've captured it with the perfect song. You're so careful about matching lyrics and scenes and it all works to further the story. Claire was holding on to the lesser love not realizing what she had right in front of her in Jamie was the greatest love she would ever know. The scenes you've chosen show us the progression of their relationship and remind us that there is no one else that can come near Jamie & Claire. Sam & Cait are sublime in making them real to us. I could watch this forever and it would still touch me just the same. Thank you so very much! 😭 ♥🙏
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I blush, but I also have a big smile on my face. A lot of work goes into these videos. I don't want to just string together pictures, I want to use music to tell certain parts or aspects of J&C's story. I want to let the lyrics and pictures go hand in hand as often as possible. Not that easy, especially since I prefer pictures in which there is no talking. With this one I really wanted to use this wonderful tribute version, even though I didn't find it quite suitable at first. It's actually a woman's point of view, but I mainly wanted to see through Jamie's eyes. After listening to the song several times, I decided to split the perspectives between verses. But the chorus should belong to Jamie. There are parts of the song where I knew from the beginning what imagery I was going to use, the beginning and the end, for example. The last „will you stay or will you run away“ is perfect for Claire’s decision at the stones and Jamie leading her towards them. But there are also parts where I had to do a little trickery by briefly changing the perspective for a few lines, with corresponding pictures, because they wouldn't make any sense from Jamie's point of view. It's nice that people understand what I do and want to express and that it not only makes me happy, but apparently others too. I'm excited to see how the next video is received. Also a very unusual cover version that I definitely wanted to use. But what the song is about doesn't really fit at all. But I think I found a way to make it fit… Sorry for the long text and thank you again for the praise😊

Gerade habe ich dieses Video entdeckt , obwohl es schon 7 Monate her ist . Ich habe auch gerade wieder angefangen mir die ersten Staffeln anzusehen . Und wieder paßt alles zusammen , das Lied und die Zusammenstellung der Bilder . Fantastische Arbeit , Chris .

Meine Outlander Playlist ist eigentlich chronologisch sortiert, wenn nicht, kannst du sie entsprechend sortieren lassen, vielleicht ist es dann leichter zu überblicken, was du schon kennst und was nicht. Ich war fleißig, es sind inzwischen immerhin 65 Videos, davon 7 Shorts (Kurzvideos)😱😂 Run To You liegt mir noch immer sehr am Herzen, diese Version ist so wunderschön🥹
