The outstanding acting of Sam Heughan & Caitriona Balfe and the amazing chemistry between them brought the 2 main characters of the series to life in such a wonderful way, that is second to none. The deep love between Jamie & Claire, unaffected by decades of separation or 2 centuries that separate their worlds, is fascinating and inspiring. An unconditional love characterized by loyalty, acceptance & tenderness. Their love story inspires me to make videos in which I select appropriate music to theme parts of their story. This beautiful video is the highlight of my week, I love it, your video’s about Jamie & Claire always lift my spirits, I am home from hospital after a mini-stroke last weekend, was released yesterday after five days, it has left me disorientated and unsteady, but still have the use of my arms and legs fortunately, a slow process back to normality I think 🤔 but could have been much worse, pleased I didn’t miss any videos 😅 best wishes from Bernice 🥰🥀🤗

Die Hochzeitsnacht, was für Emotionen da hoch kommen, bei beide. Claire, die es sichtlich genoß, weil so etwas mit Frank nicht hatte. Jamie, der schnell lernte, worauf es ankam. 😂😂😂😂 Ich habe einen Bonus auf einer DVD, wo es hieß, das die erste intime Szene von Sam und Caitriona die war, wo er Claire im Bett oral befriedigt. Ron Moore sagte da, daß Sam das nicht machen wollte, es dann aber machte, was man bei der Szene am Ende nicht glauben würde. Es war die Episode, in der Murthag Jamie sagte, das der Herzog angekommen wäre. Erst danach wurde die Hochzeitsnacht gefilmt. 👍👍👌💯💯😘

Was für ein ergreifendes Lied das zu diesem Video passt. Jamie verspricht alles zu tun, was in seiner Macht steht, um Claire zu beschützen. Sie ist seine Heimat, sein Licht das leuchtet, wenn er spät nach Hause kommt. Aber auch Claire würde alles für ihn tun. Sie hat ihn oft genug zurück geholt ins Leben. Just lovely video showing Jamie and Claire in all their ups and downs but always in the end they always give everything they have mind spirit and body to each other! I am always reminded of Jamie saying to Claire after he proved his fealty and saying that they are equal that she was his home now and nothing else mattered much not even Lallybroch! Ja , Jamie ist immer für Claire da , er hält sein Hochzeitsversprechen , in Guten wie in Schlechten Zeiten . Er ist ihr gegenüber sehr sensibel , er spürt genau , wenn sie etwas bedrückt . Ja , er wollte Claire eifersüchtig machen indem er Loaghaire küßte . Aber Claire war noch unentschlossen , zu wem sie wollte : Frank oder Jamie . Aber nach und nach schätzte sie Jamie . Ich denke auch , das sie im Unterbewusstsein Jamie auch schon liebte . Deshalb lese ich gerne die Bücher immer wieder , da ihre Gefühle so emotional beschrieben wurden . Jamie selbst aber liebte Claire schon lange , und er würde auf sie warten . Auch das ist in den Büchern so schön beschrieben . @@heikethielcke8910 Ja ich bin auch erstaunt 😯 Du schaust dir gerade meine ersten Werke an. Ich hatte keine Ahnung vom bearbeiten und zusammenstellen von Videos. Eigentlich habe ch das noch immer nicht 😂 Bei mach einem bereue ich, dass mir noch Erfahrung fehlte. Sie sind alle sehr dunkel, inzwischen wirke ich dem entgegen, um die Bearbeitung durch YT beim Upload auszugleichen. Und doch kann ich nie sicher sein, wie die Qualität und Helligkeit nach den Upload aussieht. Ich bin kein Profi, keine Ahnung warum das so ist. 🤷🏼♀️
I have watched these clips numerous times over the last decade and never tire, their time getting to know each other was remarkable and a joy to behold, I believe season 1 - 3 was every fans favourite, this song in my view is superb for two reasons which are obvious ie. looking at it from their point of view and ours, ‘Only Forever’ has great lyrics as you say in your summary very romantic 💘 and you are always spot on:) well done again 👏🥰🥀🤗
Thank you dear! Yes S1-3 are really rich in history, but I love the whole show, although of course I too have my favorite parts, seasons and episodes. But ultimately, it's the story that came from Diana Gabaldon and was masterfully realized thanks to these incredible and so talented and passionate actors. You're right, the song fits Jamie & Claire, the books, the show, just like it fits us, their fans. We just love them, - only forever🥹♥️♥️♥️ . This is wonderful! What a spotlight! The longing, the burning, the obstacles. The waiting and hoping. But ultimately, we also get to see the emotional, erotic and romantic fulfillment that he had yearned for from their first meeting. It had to be her, only her, no matter how long it took, even if it took forever. I'm sure it felt like it, though their relationship actually went apace - at the beginning. I love the layers we see here and how this song and the scenes shows us their journey. The first thing we see is Jamie accepting mouth to mouth payback from Laoghaire for saving her from a beating. (She thinks he loves her.) But when he realizes Claire is there, we see a fleeting smile. Jamie likes making Claire jealous, making her want him in the way he wants her. And it sort of works. Later she teases and taunts him out of jealousy and longing. For Frank, she tells herself. But Jamie is awakening desire in her. Then we see those famously burning looks he directs at her. He doesn't have to say a word. His eyes are talking. I really like that until now, there are no lyrics. "I've been thinking bout the future" and Jamie imagines being married to Claire, touching her body. But at 0.25 we're back in the now. She's checking his wounds and we're treated to that famous intense, burning look he gives her. It stood out to me because it is paired with the text "I know we're going to be together, I just don't know how." What a thought. I like thinking that he had purpose and a goal in mind at that moment. I've never thought about it from that angle. "You know when we get close, can't deny the tension between us both" That's for sure! None of us can deny the tension between them. It has always been there. They'd barely gotten to Castle Leoch and we see it clearly when he takes her in his arms to comfort her and their face are drawn close together. They could have kissed even then. "I don't wanna pressure you but I think you need to make a move" Having Jamie present her with the marriage contract, leaving the ball in her court, was the perfect scene to pair with that. And then we do see her make a move - down the steps into the church. "I've been waiting, and I'll keep waiting" Love that scene from Rent! The way he looks at her when she give him the blanket... It's shy and burning. He yearns for her but will not compromise her reputation. He'll wait forever for the perfect time, if he has to. Sigh... I found the scenes from the wedding night excellent for illustrating "waiting forever" as well. A bit of hyperbole on Jamie's part. Don't you know he really wanted to get her in bed! It likely did feel like forever. But he patiently waited for hours, giving them both time to get comfortable. When it's about to happen and he's about to kiss her - and she suddenly wants to know about his parents, stalling - he laughs. He was utterly patient, open and disarming. Yes, waiting forever. The wedding night unfolds slowly, step by step. Slow and steady wins the race with Claire, especially because she's fighting what she's beginning to feel through the course of the night. She's trying to stay loyal Frank, though Jamie doesn't know it. But Jamie's patience and innocence, his virility, sheer male beauty, plus the heart and soul she sees in him drives Frank clear out of her head. Her soul is beginning its inexorable draw towards Jamie. "I can tell the you're terrified to take a shot this strong" Now we see a different kind of tension between them. Claire is sometimes reticent, still conflicted, unbeknownst to Jamie. She's angry at herself and at him for making her forget her mission to get back to Frank. The scene by the stream following her rescue is a great illustration of the power she has over Jamie. They ferociously tear into each other but she will not back down. Suddenly, Jamie backs away, exhausted, frustrated and deeply hurt. After all the Sturm und Drang, he shows her his raw vulnerability. "Should I wait up for you day and night, just let me know how long" Perfect. Thankfully, that breaks her temper. They are beginning to be a real couple. There is more conflict - the spanking and the fallout of it. That's a big one. I like that you used more scenes from the Reckoning which are well suited to showing not only the sexual tension but the gaping wedge that has developed between them. That close-up of Jamie's face shows such determination. He's waited so long for her to forgive him, to let him back into her heart. It had to feel like forever. But the ball was in her court. "You have to make a move." She cannot resist him any longer. Then the beautiful, erotic make-up scene. Sublime. And freakin' hot!! Sex is a golden connection between them. Intense, and so satisfying. The Devil's Mark was a nice choice in setting up what Jamie is willing to sacrifice for Claire after her shocking revelation. He's willing to let her go to where she will be safer and happier. All of it played out with "only forever" in the chorus. But - not without a struggle. He pleasures her, memorizing her face. It's so difficult! There's yet more tension and challenge in the bridge: "What if I told you it's too late, what if I told l you I can't wait, what if I meet somebody else that doesn't leave me on the shelf" Seeing Claire's hands with the two rings...choice. It's extremely difficult to let her go to Frank. In his mind Jamie wonders what Claire would do if he threatened her with someone else in his life. (Ugh. Laoghaire) If he gave her a choice, instead of just sending her away. Would she stay? I like seeing the conflict. But then the powerful lyrics, "I'll give you one more chance, but it only lasts forever..." Because, stay or go, he'll love her forever. Aargh! So poignant. Waaah...😢😢😣 I really enjoyed that quick jump between seeing them arrive at Lallybroch for the first time and then seeing her drive away from it in the future. What a clever setup for their 20 year separation! We see her going through, him in the aftermath of Culloden, in black and white. The past. But you move us forward from Ardsmuir, Red Jamie and Geneva, into the present with the increase of color. Jamie hearing Claire's voice after he's been with Geneva, is really striking. She's saying part of their vows, "Blood of my blood." Haunting. Painful. He was such a far cry from that. Next, she appears out of the blue. He sees her for the first time in 20 years! Bone of his bone. Life has returned to him. No more lyrics now, but the whispered "As long as we both shall live" as they fall asleep in each other's arms. "Only forever." 😭 We start and end without lyrics. It's just so beautiful.

And most of the time you hit the nail on the head. Being understood like that is really great, because you can see how much thought and consideration goes into the videos. It's not just editing that is a process and takes work, but also the intention behind it and the statement I want to make. You've interpreted this video really impressively by looking at it scene by scene, as well as its positioning in the text. And everything you say, every conclusion is absolutely correct and I LOVE that! Ultimately, that's exactly what I do when I create the videos. I choose scene by scene to fit the text and unfold a little story around Jamie & Claire piece by piece. You are going through this process backwards in your analyses. Please never stop! I really appreciate this video and song! While I adore these sensual and emotional scenes between Jamie and Claire just brimming over with love, it’s the looks that he gives her that really get to me! I’ve mentioned this before! Those looks just convey understanding devotion love and desire! I have never seen those looks and so many of them on any other show! He is such a great actor! By his looks he is saying he will be with her forever and that is how it is meant to be! Be still my beating heart!💓 He tells her that when they are standing on the hill watching Ian swim to the island! Thank you Chris for compiling these amazing scenes between Jamie and Claire! H, ja es konnte schon ab und an ziemlich heiß werden zwischen Jamie und Claire. Da wurden beide sehr hitzig 😂😂😂 In den Büchern kommt es häufiger vor, da ist es Jamie, der Claire auf seine Art und Weise zeigt, daß sie die seine ist. Meine Outlander Playlist ist eigentlich chronologisch sortiert, wenn nicht, kannst du sie entsprechend sortieren lassen, vielleicht ist es dann leichter zu überblicken, was du schon kennst und was nicht. Ich war fleißig, es sind inzwischen immerhin 65 Videos, davon 7 Shorts (Kurzvideos)😱😂 Run To You liegt mir noch immer sehr am Herzen, diese Version ist so wunderschön🥹
