He isn't a ghost, he is a bunch of nanobots, flying in a humanoid formation also known as "the Walrider", that's why he can't phase through walls. The guys who used to run the asylum did some preeety f*cked up sh*t. They were trying to find someone who'd be the right kind of insane to be compatible for the "morphogenic Engine" (the bubble with Billy in it, that controlls the Walrider). The morphogenic Engine was supposed to separate mind and body through something like luzid dreaming, to put the mind in controll of the Walrider and then, idfk, use it in war or smth. The sad thing is: Billy wasn't even insane or smth, he was just a luzid dreamer and his own mother basically sold him to the guys from the asylum. Edit: 10:55 It's not Billy, killing them it's actually you. As the white dressed c*nt said, you are the Host to the Walrider since the Nanobots entered your body.

Never mind the editing.it took me almost a month to finish this game and 2 mice cos of all the jump scares. I would die if I tried to do this in 1 sitting

He literally could take tools from the pletera of options available and cut the chainlink fence in the courtyard. I would have noped out as soon as I saw the soldier on the stake in the beginning anyway, that's enough proof right there to call in the national guard.

@@andrewmeyer3599 Lol, if only the ending was the problem, the whole game is meh at best, the only difference between this and others of the genre is that this was in 1st person Not to mention, Miles is the dumbest character ever, it's not even about him not leaving the place, but the fact that he doesn't do shit to defend himself in a place full of batshit insane people, and when we think he finally did something right the game goes "oh right, now F. You"

Watch many vids about Outlast because for some sick reason I absolutely love this game. Couldn't play it till the end because my heart couldn't take it. Maybe it was the greengreengrass i was smokin but probably cause I'm a bit of a pussy. So good on ya for finishing the whole thing and making it fun to watch. You're awesome, can't wait for more.
