Are they pretty good like reliably? I only have 2 strokes and want to try out a 4 stroke. My banshee is way faster but seen videos of these and always wanted one
Just gotta 07 Outlaw 500 w/irs back in Nov. 2017. Love that bike man. Can't wait til my 1st race, win or lose can't wait to see how it does. Just been hitting a couple trails!!
We just picked up a Polaris 450mxr and a lt250r hybrid with a lt500 motor I rode the 450 and it was so smooth and easy to control even in the snow and ice such an easy bike to predict
Nice quad. Didn't know those were KTM motors. I'm surprised it's beating quadzilla. Most people don't know how to properly ride the lt500. They are better short shifted. I have raced a couple with my 250r back in the day. They were close races until about 60 mph than the 500 would pull away. My bike was a power valve 310 but geared more for the track. Awesome quad though. Have a Pilot and a 700xx now both a lot of fun.
I'm buying an 09 outlaw s tomorrow. Everyone has a raptor 700 and they will all cry I gurantee it. I didn't even know they made these. But to this day the fastest quads are the Suzuki lt250r and lt500 quadzilla hands down cash up.
It's not all about speed mate, I'd rather have a quad that's more reliable but still fast. These 525s are good, but the raptor 700 engine is far more reliable.
Nah. They all got kicked and they know it. Besides, when you watch yourself pulled away from ur competitor that quickly and your 4-lengths ahead, you might as well center yourself.. KTM engines are amazing..especially when the system is turned properly. That rm250 was the only fair race. Rms are beasts. I knew a video of a ktm450sx bored to 570 and it wheelies past tuned rap 700s and bikes
This is a traction game as I am seeing it . Ive never ever seen a PRedator run with anyhthing anywhere above 450. Very cool though. Put them on blacktop and lets remove traction from the equation
@@crazyeyedme4685 I didn't know the Outlaws were that light! 🤯 I figured they were at least 450lbs! Still more power to weight on the bike though. The bike has 1/5hp per lb and the quad has less than 1/6hp per lb
I'm pretty sure I barely started to pull qen I got out of it but yes they are fast .... from a dig tho he had no chance that's why I let him get in his power band and take the hit... but if I got to give him advantages to run me is it really faster ?
A good rider on a rm250 from start to finish would demolish the 525, the 525 is a quick atv bit the 250 2 stroke and 450 4 stroke power to weight ratio is crazy, he is scared of the rm or isnt a very good rider. These are just facts, the rm makes 45 hp and is 210 lbs, the 525 makes the same and is 400 lbs
That thing is insanely fast! It's a torque monster. I never would have guessed a 525 cc 4 stroke quad would beat a 250 cc two stroke motocross bike. Is it stock? Do you know what it's top speed is? And also is it faster than the predator?
hank offroad yea I haven't lost but to a 4 miles banshee and he had to bring all he had...currently re jetting mine with the fmf exhaust thinking about doing a piston that would be fair hahaa

Probably be a good idea to learn to use your clutch properly... Using your outside three fingers for your breaking hand... That's a little bizarre and inexperienced
I know this is 2 yrs old but its not like I care. Lol...srry but what you said tells me that I have no idea wtf your talking about.. 1st....this is in fact a drag race and these are Atvs. As far as your clutch comment...Outlaws have a hydraulic clutch which simply makes it easier to switch gears. They did this for a reason. 2nd, There is such a thing as speed shifting where you don't even have to use the clutch(not recommending), even though in this case he did. 3rd...modern sport quads have very good breaking system where you could you your fricken pinky to break if you wanted. The outlaws especially have great braking systems. All this brings me back to fact #1...that this is a drag race. Not motocross...not cross country, not even 2 tracking. Your points made are very useless and it's funny because youve probably never even won a single race in your life aside from when you were a sperm. Pointing out the last 3 finger thing would have made sense in almost any other situation except this one. Its funny
