Outlaw Evolution Titanium Safety Razor - Alpha Shaving - REVIEW 

My first razor was a Henson AL-13 mild. I was told the same exact model in Titanium (Ti-22) was a bit more aggressive and had a better knurling. I splurged at $250 and I have not regretted my purchase yet. It's my go to for head shaves and still works the best for face shaves. There is something about Titanium that is hard to explain. It has a real premium feel. I had a bad fall on my ebike this summer and broke my humerus in 3 places. It now have a bunch of Titanium holding it together. The razor was a gift to myself for all the pain I endured this summer. Needless to say I'm a huge fan of Titanium. Great review.

A super video - thank you Sir - I will have some razors just before Christmas - on 21st Dec. I do understand that not everyone can stand that price point and for that very reason I also make this same razor in stainless steel - same great shave experience. I'm not sure how you even purchase one of these razors, they are always sold out. Companies that promote their razor and never have inventory are very bizarre. If you go to their website, literally every item says sold out, ridiculous. Great video @SinatraLennon !

I ordered my first shavette and now i'm nervously waiting to use it for the first time.

Very nice and enthusiastic review. And what is it with the hype of titanium? You are right about the price. But it's still a lot less than many of the others (stainless steel or titanium) on the market. Even though I can afford the expensive safety razors, I learned that price doesn't mean anything when it comes to getting good to excellent shaves. My $25 Merkur 34C comes to mind. But the Rockwell 6S is still king in my shave den.

The green towl has a new friend

I use the Wilkinson Sword Classic(black version of the razor) with Gillette Blue blades and get irritation on the neck when I go against the grain. I also used BIC Astor blades and got irritation on the neck even when I shaved after more then a month(in that month I trimmed with a beard trimmer). Usually when I shave more then a 3 day beard I get no irritation. I wonder if I can use a Merkur 37c ATG on the neck.

I enjoy your content. As you don't just shave. Like Kevy Shaves. You share stores with you viewers as you shave. More like a vlog. That being said. A razor of this expense in my opinion. Deserves a true shave. Like a not shave on a Friday or on the weekend. And then shave Sunday night before bed. So you have the clean shave in the morning. This coming from a guy who could shave twice a day. As I have Viking DNA. So take what I say with a grain of salt. I add the info that I have yet to shave off my covid beard. Which I was going to do this summer. To which I bought the Henson AL 13++ AND the AL13 +++. Which I haven't used yet, either of them. As I live in Canada. And I live in a place where the cold winter wind hurts my face. Also, I believe Henson is made in my town. So after stumbling across it via social media this spring. It just never got hot enough for me to shave down to my gotee. Cause.....Viking Blood. I've rambled on enough. Point is...for $260 US. It should be tested with a good 3-4 days growth. 😉

Great shave. i have the Stainless Steel version of that Outlaw Evo razor, it's great but a tad too aggressive for me, i still prefer my Rockwell 6S.

i would never buy that razor the most expensive i bought The Twig, The Leaf, High Prof, the Henson the all made me gulp i love Home Alone 1 i love them all, great shave fun stuff, stay safe....cheers...Peter

Yeah, no, even if I won one of those billion-dollar Powerball drawings I couldn't see myself dropping that kind of dough on a single razor, unless it was something like a NOS Fatboy that somebody exhumed from a dark and dusty corner somewhere. It looks pretty and all, but not for me. And it's funny you should mention the 6S. Just yesterday I had my very first actually comfortable shave with a Feather blade courtesy of the 6s. Shaving with a Feather is usually like sticking my face in a food processor, so you can imagine my delight and surprise and not having to summon medical assistance for the first time over the course of 44 blades. 😂

Alpha razors are expensive.
