Combat flight video 96 - Outnumbered and outgunned. There are only two of us as we catch up to two others, who get quickly knocked out of the fight. Soon it is just me and my wounded wingman taking on a half dozen Albatros fighters. Once I think it is all over, and we can head home, my wingman decides to do the idiotic move of attacking a balloon, with another half dozen Albatros overhead. I am now down to just two drum magazines for my Lewis gun, and a decision to make. Do I leave my wingman, or commit suicide and take on the Albatros fighters?
The second half of this video is all shown through first person POV from the cockpit, due to the chaos of one lone SE.5a taking on four Albatros fighters. To say it was intense does not describe it enough.
