i find that a simple heavy shot with multiple multiplier mod maybe mix damage rotor kinda ok to deal with these large enemie at long range. im using my sniper mod alone to kill kronos but i didn't fight crius yet so i don't know if it work or not. very stressful situation. im happy you make it out alive.

100% im going to switch to something better suited for Touring. Playing Dire Stright with that build in video is pretty nice but shocking at tour as you can't kill Kronos. I like your build something like that for next one.

Invest in Storage. For infinite mode low storage is fine as you should be pouring materials into making ammo but for tour you can use a large stockpile to make fortifications on recovery day. Also work on you base layout. Just cause you make a large base doesnt mean you need to spread your stuff out a ton but clogging your base like you do causes movement issues. Core Tower Shockwave requires Power to use, not sure off top of head but its obviously more than 30. Pausing video it shows 300power requirement, 120s CD. Again invest in storage, you only have 485 power storage and you can upgrade Small Artillery Formations from MGs to 30mm, Pyro/Cryo, Smart Mortar if you've done the research for POWER after 300Mat placement fee (you click on the BASE of the Machinegun and it gives you options similar to when upgrading the Miners). There is an upgrade to the Batteries that requires 10 Batteries per craft, provides more power storage (80 compared to 5*10=50), core output (10 compared to 0) and takes 5?6? generic wall slots (peg placement points so 2-3 walls, compared to 5walls). Not sure if you have it or not. I hope theres a similar Material Crate upgrade somewhere cause placing them on new builds is just tiresome.

Can you just put all your loot in a bunch of pack mules? That way the game thinks you are not recovering much and gives you a minimum recovery day?

You certainly can do some loot but not a ton as wouldn't it be determined by what you can carry in your backpack. Or Do you mean loading the mules up before Extraction day and the mules will still have everything? That could work if I could keep them alive.

I've just finished diff 2, 800s wave with 2 ciws, 5 mortar, 6 30, and 4 machine gun in outpost with 6 ammo maker thinking it's enough for the 2 auto loader. The 2 howitzer I got ran dry very quick. Nearly didn't make it, but the 3 fabricators I used to built an army, 2 knight hangar +2 Knight I happen to find. I swarm the lane with them while I held off other lane on my own. I was so close to breaking when the giant walker blown up by the howitzer at the back. Really need more ammo maker on my end...

I found by using 4 generic panels, 2 large batteries and 4 large material boxes consumes the least amount of space. You can also use 4 small batteries and like 72 small material boxes lol to condense.

pillars are a game changer, 6 pillars in a row can fit 10 small gens on each set for a total of 20 or 6 batterys on each set of 3 for a total of 12

Only thing is it doesn't give you core power like the other panels does. Be interesting to compare them. I might have a look at it.

Is there any base component which you can get to store ammo in the base? Or is that just leaving it sitting in ammo creators?

Heya, What is your usecase here? Storing ammo for extraction day or something? All ammo in the ammo maker or auto loaders will be credited to your inventory at the end of extraction day.

@@SiNKiLLeR_ Well, primarily I was hoping for some kind of artillery shell storage locker because otherwise I don't know how we're meant to supply the guns. We can't even craft those in mission, right? I suppose they'll start out fully loaded at the beginning of the tour, but being able to take additional shells on the outpost is something I'd have expected us to be capable of. Same thing for stocks of cryo or pyro ammo in boxes. Carrying everything in the player's inventory is impractical for obvious reasons. I was wondering if it was possible to load those special ammo boxes into turrets...

@@DGneoseeker1 If you mean to bring ammo and shells with you for Recovery Day, then pack them into crates back home and stuff your inventory full. You can store shells in autoloaders (6 each) and you can store the rest in Mules. Just spawn a bunch of Mules, pack them full of shells/ammo and hide them inside your base so they're safe. Then on Recovery Day you can park them next to your autoloader so you can refill them quickly. Just make you take the ammo/shells out of the box beforehand because you don't wanna mess with opening the boxes when time is short. Also, you CAN craft shells in the field, you need to unlock the Assembler for that. Each shell costs an ammo box and some gold, so it's really not economical, but in an emergency if you REALLY need shells it could save your hide.

@@adriank7576 That looks like the Cerulean blue paint. You can find that (and most paints) around your home base. Some are better hidden than others...

Need to invest in more Guardians for sure, I tend to get around 20-30 Guardians per run now by taking a slower approach, makes such a difference

You can set the artillery on direct shot and autofire to large targets. should get chronos and even Cirus on1-3 difficulty with what is there. Can also have them shoot by taargettng or climb up and use them.

There ISN'T way to do that? So do we need to carry all the shells in the character's inventory? I don't see how that could be practical.

@@DGneoseeker1 You can craft shells in the field with the Assembler, but each shell costs an ammo box and some gold. It could save you in a pinch, but it's not a long term solution. IF you use the artillery often, pack some shells into boxes at home, bring them with you, and you once in the field you can store them in autoloaders (6 each) and the rest in Mules (if you have the bot fabricator).

@@DGneoseeker1 That's right, your guns start with full ammo but your loaders will be empty. That's why you need to pack shells and ammo crates if you don't wanna have to farm all of it out in the field. Lot of people do loot tours where you just being a tour, instant loot every zone and go straight to Recovery Day. If you do that you won't have _any_ materials in your base, so it's better to bring enough ammo to fill your loaders at enough for when you start getting material from the kills and can kick your ammo producers into gear.

I haven't redone my bases in forever, been to busy with the videos and trying to tech up but will have a new base for next video :). I saved so much stuff to build a bigger base.
