I don't know if its been addressed. But for the Monster Hunt (Or Bounty/Historian quest) - You do NOT have to do the last quest on WT15. Do ALL quest on WT1 - After doing so - Set your WT to 15 - Go outside and kill mobs until you get a drop - Loot it - And that will set your loot level back to WT15. Then go in and turn your quest in.
On mistake 5, it is a mistake for 3 of the classes but not for Devastator. It is extremely difficult to build for great DPS as a Devastator, much easier to build for anomaly power and spam skills such as Leap, earthquake and bleed damage.
Hey I wanted to let you in on a tip if you go to world Tier 15 and do the Manhunt quests and Hunter Quest line you can still get weapon and gear drops of legendary items of level 42 I just wanted to let you know
@@hotshot29474 this still works btw, you do the whole quest line in tier 1 or whatever, and before you pick up the last one, you switch to 15, kill the stuff and turn all of the in at the same time, all gear will be tier 15.
Nice video !! :) Quick note; For the hunt legendary farm, if you are only looking for the T3 mod legendary at the end of the run, there's no need to raise the tier to the highest for the 10th hunt. You can just do all of them a tier 1 and you will still get the legendary at the end. Of course its going to be a level 28 or something but if you only need the mod, that's still faster. ;)
Early on in the game you’re going to get a lot of green pieces with 1-3 stats. Personally I prioritize bonus firepower, cool down, and close range damage. If a green drops with just 2 of those 3 I will throw it in the stash. When you can’t find that gear you need later on just pull them all out and start upgrading them. In one batch I can usually get maybe 1 or 2 to roll with all 3 stats.
A faster way to grind XP is to do the Wanderer side quest at The Gate over and over again. You don't have to return to lobby, which saves a ton of time
I'm sure it's coincidence, but real trippy that this "5 mistakes" list is so nearly identical to KhrazeGaming's video on the same topic from the bullet points to the video title to turns of phrase, all the way to pronunciation of "Wendi(n)go."
I did lower tree (anomaly) Devastator for the 1-30 climb, then switched to top tree (more gun focused), and yeah, what a difference. Everything got easier. In particular there is a trait that gives 15% bonus damage to elites...right off the top. My skills are modded for utility more than damage now. Boulderdash doubles my armour, gravity leap heals me, and Golem of course protects me. I don't do much damage any more with skills (though gravity leap can still clear out some stuff), but I still get armour and healing, and then a good gun with weapon leech does the real work.
I agree with the gun dps statements for all classes save devastator. Devastator doesn't need all 10 equipment mods working in tandem to be great. His anomaly power based melee bleed build is absolutely insane and although isn't the best damage in the game, can hang with the other characters really well and doesn't have to rely on help from his teammates in any situation. When I play with others, I just go after the biggest guys in the field and keep them occupied while my teammates take care of the objective point or all the small fries and they help me once they are done. Devastator also doesn't have as much of a boost when it comes to firepower as the other 3 classes so you have to rely on abilities more for damage as well as healing depending on the skill path you take
I will never hear 'WENDIGO' the same way again. it's a native American myth monster when someone commits cannibalism and the Wendigo spirit takes over.
What an adventure. Now we can see why they fought so hard to retain the name. If they had to rebrand, it would have likely caused some potential buyers to not realise and just think the game never made it to retail.
I’m fully aware that gun based builds are far superior in terms of general gameplay, but there’s something about the perfect anomaly build that just hits different.
Bro you are so articulate and your voice is so soothing to hear but i thought you were talking about a dingo or something and then i realized you were pronouncing the WENDIGO. Haha. That shit killed me, i thought i was tripping. Anyway, much love, you gained a sub.
yep just use firepower build than stack bloodlust, critstack, sharp eye, captain hunter. killing spree and emergacny stance for defence plus you class ammo regen mod and some class specific stuff like idk radical therapy if u play techno and and games become easy mode
@@LtBuzzLitebeeryeah exactly, not to flex or anything but i have my techno build quite tweeked now and full stacked im hiting around 1,4 mil weak points crits ... highest i ever got was around 2mil and i'm still missing Euthanizer mod with that im sure i can get ever higher numbers
Maybe a bit late but who knows🤷🏻♂️. You can do all 10 of the Wanted,Hunter and Historian at WT 01 and then just play an early sidemission like the one in Rift Town ("A bad day" I think🤔) on your highest WT and then go to Trench Town to get your rewards - so there's no need to fight a boss on a high WT,what makes the whole thing a lot easier...
The attributes are set to your old value of the piece of gear. So when you level them up that percentage is now accounting for your new higher figure. So what was higher before has to be lowered to keep the same value you have invested I the piece of gear of that now new higher value. That's the way I see it anyway. I haven't done the math but it makes sense. And I'm surprised they thought of that value differential! Smart and this is also why when you level them up you can also raise those attributes to that small missing .1 percentage to max it out again for your new value! Hope this makes sense
The biggest thing I learned, is when you are max level and doing pods, Do not go past POD 5-7, stay there get enough titanium, Sell all titanium for drop resources, and reset tiago until u complete all legendary sets, its easier to level them up later then to RNG farm for lvl 50 versions of them.. at least u can make the sets before going at pod 10+ to deal more damage
I play borderlands so I love farming... But farming in this game is horrible... If this game was more like borderlands it would be amazing I like the game but I don't understand the farming or who drops what. I'm still learning about the game but I feel somethings in this game r overly complicated for no reason. Might just be me tho. Anyways awesome vids new sub.
I have a Technomancer anomaly build with a ton of skill damage bonus a large amount of status bonus, and a lot of healing bonuses. I can go from nearly dead at only 15% of my health remaining to max health in less then 2 seconds because of it. Plus I'm freezing enemies, and putting toxic, and vulnerable statuses with perks, and mods that boot damage to enemies that have a toxic proc. However I'm only level 30 with level 42 gear so there's always room for improvement.
New sub here...loving outriders. Currently on world their 10 and finished the campaign. I’m playing on stadia and have it on Xbox as well. Great game all around.
@@reaversix2798 you're not wrong, AP dev is by far the best atm, the only problem is that it requires so many legendaries to scale into end game, kinda stinks
I'll play full anomaly because it has better clear. If you have enough cdr and do appropriate content you'll clear faster. It also can scale to expedition 15 and get gold while beeing potentially more survivable. It's kind of like warframe, if you can kill out of los stuffs in one press, it's generally better. Also there are mods that make guns kind of hold their ground without using fire power but the rank 3 ones are significantly better and it is not on par with a proper weapon builds for single target, the overall is still enough.
At first I didn’t know what I was doing but now I cleared tier 15 and have all my anomaly build with the hardest class to play devastator All you need is Anomaly, Status Power, cooldown reduction and you are gravy. Now working on my technomancer and trickster. Farming dunes gives you an insane amount of resources you will need but I suggest doing it after you are in world tier 15. I have 800k Leather 600k iron and 35k titanium. For farming for 2 hours. Same strategy you just have kill the birds and kill the male and female and get killed get items easy.
I dont know if it is just my experience or something to be aware of but I was on tech using a weapon build (not optomized) to farm solo WT11 for easy gold clears. Because it heavily relies on getting the kill to maintain, when I ran with a group, the BRs were less reliable to maintain. Same thing happened to a friend when I was running a pyro anomaly build
For the wild hunts, you can complete all of them on tier 1 and before turning them in, raise to tier 15, go to a level like the one to raise world tier, kill some enemies until getting something to drop at the tier 15 level. After that, turn in the bounties and all the loot including the legendary will be tier 15.
I jumped right in no tutorials no videos no nothing and still killing it! I have my map up to tier 10 already I’ve only played for two days it’s a little tough at times but it’s really not that hard!
So you think I should make a second character with another class or restart the game? I' a pyromancer at level 7 and I was thinking to choice another class like trickster
Yeah, that "N" is now a running joke in the Discord. On your character screen, look towards the bottom (I believe it is left hand side) and you see the shard icon. Place your cursor over that and it will show you every attribute and how shards of each you have saved up.
Solid vid. I'm experiencing a bug where I can't hear or feel enemy gunfire. There is no combat feedback and all of a sudden I'm dead....hope they know about that issue
From a perspective of a lvl 45+, you are 100% correct. From a perspective of a level 5 player going through the campaign, has no money, and has to dig every titanium vein and dismantle gear to upgrade anything and get "that mod" your advice is kind of meh. No offense, and I am aware the video is old, upgrading your crap gear through campaign is a must if you don't want to be dying all the time. Lbl 50 player is hardly going to need this advice will they? ;)
not to point out an error here. But choosing the fireworks over the anamoly shot is nerfing your dps somewhat. in the same time it takes to proc 2 fireworks, you would have had procced 4 AS. and that dmg starts to stack real quick
Higher World Tiers means harder enemies with the chance of getting higher tier loot. But honestly, if you are using the Open World to farm, just drop it way down and rip through all the enemies.
I want to thank you my outrider build was lacking damage sat at rifttown scored 2 green piece level them up to epic and increased my damage and survivability 10 fold
FYI when you use the exit to lobby method it technically does NOT remove you from combat so the zip doesn’t get permanently saved and won’t rank up your world tier when you fill the bar so you will occasionally need to finish the hunt thus exiting combat, travel to camp and abandon the quest and pick it up again
In relation to the first point... I told many people that crafting is a big part of the game... I have a feeling people totally ignore that aspect and then start crying that game is too hard , well , dduuuhhhh
1 mistake Outriders makes with allowing their base to understand strength in item crafting potential, is that they have no viable means of showing its players (min-max) rolls on items. What is the max Anomaly? What is the max Firepower? Its 2021. One thing a game like this should have learned by now is to have within the game something showing minimums & maximums for every attribute/damage category. For instance when I play Path of Exile, I can mouse over any piece of gear & press alt. It will then show me the min-max range for every attribute on that armor/weapon/gear. This allows for true potential in min-maxing your builds. When you say Godroll in outriders, its more of a "(oh I got the attributes & mods I want)". Thats not what a Godroll really is. Things like that & many other features along with outstanding community interaction, are why an 8 year old game like POE continue to grow its base, is getting stronger and arguably, from a true indy, has become the industry leader in the looter ARPG category even though the comexity of the game is far beyond something like an Outriders.
You know how the expeditions are time trials, so they are very speed run based, however, and this is an opinion running arround in the web right now, it makes tank builds and sopports not viable, its full damage and elemental ammo or nothing, the devastator is actually getting kick out in matchmake because it dont have the element round. given how good your thoughts have been before with the division skyscraper and your options on how to make it better, would like to hear your thoughts on the expedition structure over on outriders. personally i feel the time trial should be taken out and the challange should be something diferent, im thinking like raids in destiny 1. but what are your thoughts?
It's absolutely an issue because of the time limit mechanics. At this point, it's all about damage and how quickly can you clear the mobs...nothing else is really needed. That excludes pretty much anything besides a bullet glass Cannon or a really well constructed AP Pyro build.
@@LtBuzzLitebeer A friend of mine who i played the story with said he wont do expeditions till thay take the time trial out, he uses devastator, i personally am the trickster, but i when the middle tree all the way to the keystone and some of the top tree. I was able to clear up to challange tier 9 solo, but after 10 enemies are just as tanky as i am, granted, i dont die and can stay there till i kill everything, but the timer runs out, specially now that some maps have an even lower timer after the last update. worst ones for solo are the ones where you have to charge the cristal, cause you just get swarned in and the thing charges way to slow.
Have you found any of the monster hunt locations yet? If so, lower your WT one rank and farm Haurus (located in the Dunes) over and over. Kill the 2 bosses and a few of the remaining monsters, then let them kill you. You'll respawn right back at the bosses, rinse and repeat. GL
From what I've read about PCF's latest patch to fix the inventory wipe, they included a nerf for weapon DPS. Does that change your advice about concentrating on weapon DPS instead of anomaly and do you have any idea of how much of nerf it is?
Dude no doubt come look at it in a green but you’re not looking at the green for the man ability when you are praying as much as you are for the attributes when you find agreeing with God roll attributes it and if you’re on a DPS build your one fire power a long range in short range and if you find a green with that on it and you’re at level 50 then you should level it up to 50 Upgrade the rarety wants to see what you get and if it’s your home I’ll grade it again but honestly the first thing you’re looking for are the attributes if it doesn’t have God role attributes for your build You should simply dismantle it the same if you have a blue light on there it doesn’t have got role attributes for your bill them or maybe for one of your other characters it doesn’t matter what mod it has on it just Dismantle it
What does RNG mean? Also, are you saying that instead of dying after killing a monster or contract, you can return to lobby and just hit continue? Is that the correct way to farm for mods and xp?
I've seen a ton that the trickster is top dog but my friend plays techno and his damage obliterates mine. Despite the fact I hate being forced into shotguns playing trickster I specced fully to shotguns and ill be lucky to do 40% the damage of the techno and that comes with having to be super close with there crazy melee range.
1. You dont need a dps build to beat ct15 2. Anomaly builds can make waaaaaaay more dmg than dps builds PERIOD 3. Anomaly builds are the right way to go, this isnt the division 2 or remnant from the ashes so avoid boring dps builds
Dude I really enjoy your content. . . I also know that it's been a while for another worthwhile game to cover. . . Outriders is not that game. Much love Keep up the good work xx
plan ahead and save gear. besides for the tier 1 skill talents, and class specific legendary talents, you can use it on others. So if you get a perfect purple just with a pyro tier 1. Mod it and hand it over. I have a few pieces saved away.
The one thing I've noticed with Outriders. Is how face they are willing to kill off people. I mean sure there are some real scumbags out there and totally do not deserve to live a second longer. Yet some others. Damn. You meet them for a second...dead. Really this storyline could be done on the last days of Earth and it would make a lot more sense. Now. Really. Makes little at times.
Yo. Dude. Running a trickster shotgun build. So I currently have lvl 49 gear focused on bonus firepower, close range damage and cooldown reduction. I have 160k of firepower, 44k anomaly, 16.8k health and 80k armor but I still struggle with my ct14. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. Do you have some advice? Or am I just shit at the game?
And there’s nothing orangey about it they simply drop a shower blower and you have to upgrade them again hence the reason you should not waste jars and tell your item is at max level except maybe on your primary weapon
how am i suppose to now wich mods to use? how am i suppose to get better gear if i can complete solo? i love this game buts its way to hard to be a shoot and loot :/ and how am i suppose to do the tier level up? i have so mansy questions /
