Wait hold up, Roy and Chrom have the same speed stats, so if Chrom can make it, so should Roy. I think what happened here is Roy went for a DTilt while Chrom went for a jab, giving Chrom an advantage

I notice several characters running awkwardly (not sure if i spell it right). Probably due to the bomb box hitbox and how a character reacts once running off the edge. For the case of Roy/Chrom, i cannot say why it happens.

I think it's because some characters move faster if you rapidly tap the stick. But in this case, I'm just as confused since Roy and Chrome literally have the same running speed. The only thing difference between the two are their attacks' potency and up special.

@@gmsthrakkes2992 It's not a glitch. He's fox-trotting. Properly executed it's supposed to increase movement speed because it uses the character's initial dash speed more consistently, which is generally higher than the regular dash speed. You can see that he was trying to fox-trot with WFT the first time, and just ran when under Deep Breathing. It's not a matter of the characters not being able to run properly on bomb blocks, he's just trying to give them a better chance of success.

They're not. That's called a foxtrot or wave dash. This is done by repetitively flicking the move stick in a certain direction, allowing the player to abuse the character's initial dash (or run start-up) speed to go faster. Of course, since different characters have different initial dash speeds, this can cause them to go slower or faster.

IDEA: Collapsing diagonal platforms. Fighters start on an exploding block and can survive by either running and jumping between platforms or by staying in the air for long enough until the final platform falls. If they fall into the lava below, they lose.

Wait a minute, i have an even better idea than my last comment. Bring back the good old days where break the targets was personalized for each character; its easier to keep track of too since switches could act as the targets. That way you could do some stuff with character teleports, super armor, and don't even get me started on pk thunder

I think not all characters are programmed to run on those bomb blocks, because some of them, just do a weird animation or stopping in the middle, is weird.
