The greats like Cornell, as well as his bands often sound every bit as clear and perfect LIVE, as much as they do on the LP's via studio. One of Cornell's blessings, not many a need for over dubbing; Cornell often preferred first takes in studios as well. Great Audio on this video, Thanks.
O céu ficou mais bonito porque você mora nele. A nós, que estamos aqui ainda, só resta chorar a sua ausencia e agradecer por termos tido o previlégio de ouvir sua voz.
To watch SG singing this songs more than 20 years ago leaded me in a trip over the Chris Cornell career, I was too young back then. Chris Cornell did everything perfect, pouring talent and charisma, his solo career, soundtracks, Audioslave, even a Timbaland record he managed to make its own. But SG was the perfect band. I read people saying they are underrated. I guess this feeling of "underrating" is a consequence of Chris Cornell never wanting to be in an arena band, to be an arena musician, big stages, a lot of special effects, but without proximity with people. They aren't underrated. They are truly appreciated, for all of us. And he is the best singer ever. Shame that what really happened with Chris Cornell will never surface. Even the media bought (or were bought to) the suicide version with all the screaming contradictions, it's clear that something was off if you do a simple timeline. Who will do justice on earth? Nonetheless, he's gone, 4 years now. May he be were he belong.
Yes. I'd have to agree. This is the best live version that I can find on RU-vid. The mix is still bad but at least Chris's vocals are perfect and the band is on fire. There's simply not enough great sound engineers out there.
