Fundraisers will raise money to restore The Outsiders House. The Outsiders is a 1983 film based on the book by Tulsa author S.E. Hinton. Most people driving by may not know the home helped kick-start the careers of actors Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Matt Dillon and more. Danny Boy O’Connor from House of Pain bought the Curtis Brothers house, used in the filming of the 1983 film “The Outsiders.”

Not to brag or anything Glad to see Danny O'Connor save this house. And yes I have met him, C Thomas Howell, Darren Dalton, Rob Lowe, the GOAT S.E. Hinton and also Dallas himself Matt Dillon

wow it sure brings back memories to me in the 80s days. l love that movie and read the book many times. l would love to meet C.Thomas. Howell. l.had a big crush on him in my teenager days. U should have seen my locker in my high school pictures of him everywhere on the locker door. l still do like him. We both age. Time flys. lts awesome they r making a museum of there house. They should reunite all of them now for a picrure its sad Patrick Swayze is not there to see the big moment. STAY GOLD PONYBOY!😎

Couple of blocks from some family there. That area is starting to look better in the last couple of years. But I do not expect the area to be high dollar with so many PFH houses being built blocks from this house.
