I just had this. Just had my surgery on Wednesday. Most excruciating pain I've ever felt in my life. My god it was so awful. Thank god I got this fixed. Omg I'll never forget the pain. It will haunt me for the rest of my life.
I think I have this, I had a kidney infection and i had those before. I was puking my guts out in the worst pain i ever was in. I went to the er 3 times, and they just gave me narcotics and strong antiflamorities. I had a 101.7 fever still, and i am deeply truamatized by that pain. I am not that kind of pain anymore, but i feel uncomfortable and manicly releived. 3 days of the worst pain of my life, and it feels like its creeping up on me again
So is this common? I just had this happen to me and had surgery on Wednesday. I never heard of it until it happened to me. Let me tell you the pain was excruciating it will haunt my dreams. I never wanna feel anything like that ever again. I get overian cysts all the time. So I'm so scared now that it's gonna happen again. Any suggestions?
Great video as always. Where do you get your ultrasound images from? I tried to start a RU-vid channel for ultrasound to help my students out, but hospital management said I couldn't use their equipment to film with. Maybe there is some stock video or picture site you use. Anyways, thanks for the great videos over the years!
We always call that the "Pedicle" where you see the Volvulus. I routinely scan the pedicles. This is also where you can see an intermittent ovarian pedicle torsion.
Not related to the video, but can you do a demonstration of scanning techniques for the subclavian artery and vein (prox to distal)? Like how to position the transducer, etc.
