Because of what you do and the fact that scrub daddy supports you so week, I went out and bought some scrub daddy supplies - can’t wait to clean tomorrow!!
Omg, honestly… scrub daddy products totally changed my life. It made me feel so much happier to clean for one. The products are really high quality and there is even a recycling program where you can send them in and get 2 dollar credit for each one. I used to be an absolute wreck and have trouble while cleaning, but I’m doing much better at maintaining my space and my mental health is continuing to improve because my space is nice and clean.
@omenapiiras The power paste really does work great! Her videos inspired me to buy them as well. I didn't realize the box of power paste comes with a scrub daddy, so I bough a two pack of the dishes ones, still work great for kitchen cleaning. But the paste is amazing
I worked as a cleaner. Instead of saran wrap, we used a black garbage bag. so just place a garbage bag flat on the cleaner. probably cheaper than saran wrap. and then also another trick is spraying your racks and putting them inside of garbage bags. Also if you remove the oven door when you spray the inside you can put a garbage bag across the front of the oven to kind of seal it up.
@@SLYKM yes. If you open the oven door to about 45 degrees you can pull it straight back towards you and the hinges slide out. I’m sure you could look up videos on RU-vid how to do it if that explanation wasn’t helpful enough.
It took me much longer than it should have to realize how much easier cleaning is when you just put he cleaner on and then WAIT!! Don't scrub or wipe or anything for a little bit. just let it do its thing. It makes all the difference
I love your cleaning videos and I’ve been struggling to get my place organized and deep cleaned. I feel like I can’t start until I get a ton of cleaning supplies/ organizers. I know that’s all in my head and I just need to get started! Can you make a video showing your must have cleaning supplies? TIA 🤗😊
PLEASE READ - I am editing this up front in the hopes that it will be read. I use the Aldi dishwashing tablets. I believe Aldi is in England, America and all over Europe but not Canada. However not to worry, if you go your local scab shop, I am sure you can find very cheap dishwashing tablets. They have two sides only and have no 'balls/bubbles' to aid rinsing etc. A cheap tablet will usually have a white side and a blue side. It is the blue side you want or the 'water' side. This is the thinnest side of the tablet. You don't need to push on it hard at all. If one does push hard, the tablet will fall apart. I wish I had known about this when I was a full-time cleaner. I used to be a cleaner. 13 years and I wish I had known about this hack I am about to tell you. Cheap (must be cheap) dishwashing tablets will cut through anything an oven can throw at it like a hot knife through butter. Just spray the surface with a tiny bit of water and used the blue or 'water' side of the tablet (this is the thinnest layer) and save yourself time, product and elbow grease. It is also great for burnt pots, hard to clean Pyrex and I once used it on an iron. One must be careful to thoroughly clean the holes of the iron which was relatively easy with the steam setting. Please give it a go, you will not regret it.
My bad, use some gloves and gently just rub the tablet all over what you need washed. You don't need elbow grease at all. It must be the cheap tablets that don't have a soft top on it. I used Gumption then Jif for years before I found this hack. Not sure where from but it's not mine though I wish I had thought about it years before.@@crystalheart5484 Also, spray the water first.
THIS.IS.SO.LOVELY!!!!!!!!!! I really love your tips on cleaning and I love your free cleaning services. There are days when I let trash compile in my room because of dark days and when I watch you I get some motivation to clean. I can't really do deep cleanings but at least it's not that messy.
i watch your vids in hopes some day ill have the motivation to use your methods n clean my place up, im not there yet but the guidance n understanding u show in the vids is really making an impact. im getting closer cuz of you, taking baby steps n i jus wanna write this to thank u cuz these make me cry n feel like maybe i actually can get my place fixed up soon.
The HUGE DIFFERENCE is made possible by covering the chemical with saran wrap for as long as possible before scrubbing! It allows it to continue working for a lot longer without drying out!
You do such an incredible job. You could do the bare minimum, or nothing at all, & you choose to use detailing brushes & never ignore the nooks & crannies. You are wonderful ❤
😮 WOW! SENSATIONAL CLEANING! I've never heard of VIM CREAM . Is it used to clean the inside of the oven, too ? 🤔 thanks for sharing 👍 I'm 67 And like a clean oven.and look for easier ways to keep the oven clean . 😅 Make Your Happiness 😊 ❤ Ps easier cleaning for old shower tile please. Aging is kicking my bum a bit 🙃 😅 but not an excuse for dirty habits 😜
I've never heard of Vim. Easy off spray and other oven and grill cleaners are mainly sodium hydroxide, aka lye. This is also the main ingredient in drain cleaner. I get half gallon bottles of drain cleaner from Dollar Tree and it can be mixed with baking soda.
My oven has stuff like inside of the glass. Like I'd have to take off the door and take the door apart to get to it. I'm just too scared im gonna break it since its all glass 😂
I’ll have to try this! I tried to clean my oven door a few hours ago. Sprayed TONS of Dawn Powerwash on it and let it sit for 15 minutes. Scrubbed at the grease as hard as I could. Didn’t even BUDGE. I was so frustrated.
Thank you! I've tried all kinds of oven cleaners to get my black burnt off stuff off, and it never works. I'm trying this tomorrow! Thank you so much!!
Reminds me of me cleaning the rotisserie machine at the deli I worked at. I was one of three employees that truly cleaned it each night, and I was the only one that scraped off the years of grime from the vents. Took me like 8 shifts over 3 weeks to get it all off once I devoted to the cause, the Grease-lift fumes still live in my soul. Nothing but wipe-all towels, a paint scrapper, a scrubber pad, the deli disinfectant spray, and Grease-lift, but I got the half inch of black off the vents.
Wow, oh my God, I am just dumbfounded at how well and fast and easy this procedure seems to be!! were you happening to use by chance the pink stuff cream cleaner??
11 year appliance tech. You can use wire wheel/brush or steel wool on these enamel coated ovens. Manufacturers have also made great strides with the efficiency of self clean, however displaced insulation from mice can lead to burnt wires or house fire, your method worked great too.
Will that Vim cleaner, get the burnt on black stuff off of my stove top? I feel like I've tried everything and nothing has worked :( Love your videos, you have a heart of gold.
Wow. I can't get black grime off the oven door that effectively with dedicated oven cleaner even. And yes, I use the seran wrap trick! It's awesome. Works for glue remover and paint dissolver as well.
What cream are you using? I couldn't hear you. Speed talking lol never mind saw it .. 2nd question, do you have an affiliate link or something like an amazon link? Would love to try it and support in any way I can!
As a single parent, I hate cleaning I have been sleeping on the scrub Daddy products. These products are fantastic especially having two boys that are nasty and dirty. You need these guys.
I used to often clean pizza oven windows at work and some of the befores and afters were WILD! I don't know wtf they were doing prior cause they said they'd never seen the windows actually clean
Another helpful hint hopefully it turn the oven on low for a few minutes turn it off, then you're going to want to make sure you apply some hot water, then some product and shut the door because of the warm tea will have humidity which will keep it wet and you don't have to worry about using anymore plastic in this world give it a good 5-10 minutes let the product do what it's supposed to❤ it's just hard for a lot of us to do but it is very beneficial you'll scrub a lot less which it keep your surfaces dealing with less abrasion😊 good video
Vim cream let it soak 20 minutes with saran wrap on top to keep it activated. Sour Daddy went where ? Damp sponge with disposable detail brushes for crevices. I thank You for posting this video.
