Keep them sponsorships coming. How can one complain sitting on their sofa that you try to get the most support for your project? This is obviously no money grab. Keep it up guys!

If people don't understand sponserships and how that helps you...... they probably don't understand what a refit costs... I just admire the mental strenght off you 2 to just keep going on! And if some people have a problem with your doing sponsors, they could always drop you a few thousand euros to provide their own sponsorship of episodes. It's so easy for your audience to sit bit and winge and knit pick but we only see a small part of all you are doing and we don't have to do any of it. Of course we would like to see more progress but the time you have to put into this project is enormous and you deserve breaks too. The paint looks great and once it's in the water you won't be looking at the outside so much and we are always our worst critics. Congratulations on getting this far and not throwing in the towel. Can't believe it's been 3 years. Well done to you both.

I don't get why anyone would complain about a sponsorship ... it's not like these two are made of money, they're working their butts off. So pleased you got a great result on the topside paint after some disappointment with the earlier coats. Love your channel. It's going to be a beautiful boat.

Some people are consumed with jealousy, that is why you have complaints about sponsorship, these people should be ignored, if it was’nt sponsorship they would complain about something else, the paint job is looking top notch, watched from the start of your journey, have you an Amazon wish list? Looking good. Any imperfections can be wet sanded out and polished (I wet sanded my hull with 2000 grit) check out Boat works today, he will give you all the info you need. As for sponsorships, It makes the wheels turn as long as it is something you would use then I can’t see any issues with it 👍 Keep the dream alive

As regards your comment about low views of the channel, this is the longest holiday period of the year so there are many people that are going on holiday. I have noticed that a lot of the channels have I follow are not posting many videos right now . Don’t worry about the lack of views, they will come back after the holidays.

A work of ART every time your THING is done on Seabird. Her topsides look marvelous, shining like a new penny. Possibly you would consider feeding the baby seagull and training as a pet aboard Seabird?

Marina you and Stuart are doing a fabulous job!! You two are absolutely a joy to watch.. Marina please wear some shoes or nothing while on the deck without the stanchions/ lines up. It only takes one slip on an old fastener, a cord a misplaced tool. That concrete floor isn't very forgiving. Great videos .. be safe and have fun you too. 😊

Problem with doing all the work yourself is you notice all the imperfections. Nobody else notices, though, so just relax!

Lovely technique with the tipping brush Stu - you could tell it was the right pressure by the lack of paint transfer to the brush! Obviously helped by Marinas excellent roller work as well! :-) Getting better and better each week because you are #doingthething ! All the best Richard (UK)

There is a flood of many people doing boat refits. Many people also don’t realize the value of the time it takes to make content and don’t subscribe. RU-vid is a hard thing I think with algorithms and how they show content to be seen. Not for the faint hearted for sure.

I liked your opening essay very much. Like many people, I have spent a great deal of time researching, planning and otherwise stalling doing stuff. when I finally got to "doing the thing" it always took less time than all the preliminaries. The paint may not be perfect, but it is sooo much better than it was. One thing about painting the boat yourselves is that you know where all the flaws are and will see them. Others won't see the flaws as much as you do.

That can all be summed up with the old Fishermans saying... "youre either fishing or cutting bait " !

Know wonder you've got such a smile on your face the boat looks great, I knew you'd both geter done. cheers.
