This video is about Mazda as being an extremely reliable car. My old 2004 Mazda 6 that I purchased NEW in January of 2005 was a reliable car that was a blast to drive.

We just bought a Mazda CX-9 for my daughter that had 190,000 Mi on it but it drives like a two-year-old car that's been well cared for. The car is immaculate no frame rust underneath mechanically runs perfect Feels and drives like a new car. What a phenomenon.

Thanks for the Video. I have a 2006 Mazda 6 GG series 2 in Australia that has done over 371,000 kilometers (~232,000 miles), and is still going OK. It never had a single issue of any kind until a couple on months back, and that was only the rear gas struts that hold up the back hatchback, needed replacing (I got some off ebay for AUD $50.00 - about US$35.00). The car has recently started to use some oil, but does not blow any smoke at all. While it does still drive quite well, it feels like it has lost a little power recently, which is especially noticeable on very hot days. I may try an oil additive for 'high mileage' cars when I do the next oil change, to see if that helps at all. I still drive the car everyday, and will definitely keep it into next year until something serious or expensive goes wrong with it.

That’s amazing!!! Drive it until the wheels fall off. Then put them back on again!!!😂😂😀😀
@Jako8557
@Jako8557 4 года назад
Haha thank you I'll probably just keep driving it until something goes wrong that will cost too much to repair. My wife thinks I should replace it now, before something breaks, and the car lets me down. Maybe Ill just try to get 400,000km (250,000 miles), and be happy with that. We'll see....

@@Devxntez it is still going. Now has a little over 410,000km (256,250 miles) on it. Still being driven every day, but mostly just in our local area - no really long drives anymore. It is using some oil, but does not actually blow smoke. I do add an additive to the oil 'for cars with very high mileage' - which does seem to help. When it is really hot (up near 90-100 degrees F) , there is a noticeable loss of power. Overall, the car still goes good enough to keep driving it.... here is a short video of it at 400,000km (250,000 miles) - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g0g30xiJLiU.html

We need a new car because foolishly we believed in the FORD brand as reliable and bought a 2017 Fiesta which has major transmission problems and FORD won't stand by the warranty. So, of course, we want a RELIABLE car and a company that cares about a long-term relationship with their customers. We have been looking at Mazda and after seeing your video; we now feel comfortable buying a Mazda. Also, I want to say how nice it is that you wanted to say "thank you" to Mazda for such a reliable car. I tell my kids to be grateful for the blessing you do have. A grateful heart is a happy heart.

Hate to tell you but I have purchased my first and definitely last ever mazda. They don't honour their warranty and have had many problems with the car and the dealer. I won't take my car to them again as they are really expensive and spend no more than one hour and probably half of that time is a wash and vac. Will be selling very soon anyway.

Mia Tand how exactly they don’t honor warranty. Those 2 dealers I visited around LA did decent jobs to serve. With all my respect, did u request any rude things, or if u really believe the dealer didn’t meet the standard, u should’ve reported to Mazda

Toyota joined with Mazda to make the Yaris. So they must be a good car brand. I’m at 300k with my Toyota. I’m sure Mazda can reach it with good maintenance.

Not me on the used cars. The mazda was the ONLY new car I purchased. I'd say do the best of both worlds, CERTIFIED PRE OWNED. THat's one crazy warranty, recently new, and certified. The negative equity from new was likely absorbed by the person that purchased the car new.

Hyundai and Kia are far, far, far superior in all the ways that make it a lovely ownership experience. I stupidly bought an mx5 new and thankfully kept my Hyundai Getz aswell. I have had such poor after sales service and many irritating and unresolved issues with car that I now hate seeing them on the road or hearing their name. Every time somebody asks me what I think of the car I tell them to steer clear of mazdas and grab a Hyundai or Kia. No doubt in my mind the cars are stronger, more reliable, less finicky and they care about customer satisfaction.

@@williepr9376 you own a license? Buy mazda if you prefer I really don't care. I did and I wish I had kept my brilliant Hyundai. I will never buy another overrated mazda as they have shit paint, panel gaps, shit and troublesome mzd gearbox goes out early as well as boot struts and other interior bits. They are way behind in many ways and their aftersales attitude is diabolical compared to Hyundai and Kia as well as having a shorter warranty they refuse to offer. If you buy a mazda when you're old enough, enjoy realising that I am acctually far from Crazy and then talk to an owner of a Korean car. They might enlighten you when you are ready to learn.

Not to discredit your experience, but I have never hear anyone say that ever 🤣. Normally I hear it the other way around. I hear people say kia and hyundai are incredibly cheaply made and the mazdas have the best build quality along with toyota and honda.
