Ryu and Ken were my roles models throughout the 90’s. They both inspired me to take the path of martial arts decades later in life, I received my 1st Dan in Shotokan style fighting Karate. I’m still training to this day, another senior black belt in my dojo is a good friend, I consider him to be my ‘Ken’ Thank you Ryu and Ken for the positive impact you both had on me as a child.
@@404_nowheresnotfound3I main both equally. But I will say I prefer Ken’s kicks because they resemble the legendary Andy Hug, watch a few of his fights and you’ll see the resemblance. And also Andy helped with the development of the Street Fighter II animated movie. I use Ryu mainly because he has traits of introvert which is similar to me in real life.
@@404_nowheresnotfound3 Interesting question. I feel Luke represents the modern fighter today, Capcom are well aware of the growing popularity of the MMA world. I feel Luke represents the newer generation whilst Ryu represents the old school players more. As for gameplay I like Luke, but to me he feels a little.....basic.
Street Fighter 1 needs to be in 1990's on Arcades than Playstation 1 and Xbox 160 with Better Gameplay Graphics followed by 17 Characters created instead of Mike Joe Geki Retsu & Lee 17 & 7 means 24 Characters
The only disappointment in SF6 is that they didn’t have a intro together or an interaction really. I know they didn’t go that route since SFIV but still. I live for the fist bump!
It's annoying because Ken actually extends his fist on the character select and it just would make so much sense for Ryu to do the same since this is exactly how it works in sf3. If they add Shaun hopefully he will complete the first bump in his character select
@@bigmac9605 there should be 1 for each rival pairing. Who each rival is idk. Theres some obvious ones like Luke Jamie, Ken Ryu, Chun Juri, Marisa Manon but then after that im not really sure

Despite that one time they almost didn’t in SF3, Ryu and Ken are the only characters to have appeared in every single Street Fighter game. And when it comes to crossovers, Ryu and Chun-Li have made the most appearances.
Grazie per aver creato questo video perché a me piacciono sia Ryu che Ken e sono i miei personaggi preferiti e più selezionati da me nei vari capitoli di Street Fighter.

Ryu and Red Ryu will always be the faces of SF, no matter who Capcom introduces as the "new hero." Alex, Rashid, and Male Karen are just side characters in every sequel.
those remix games have the worst character models, they look like some poor mans newgrounds images got ripped and sold by capcom and the audio sounds high pitched and rushed. they really did milk money from a bunch of hardcore sweat nerds for an inferior product.
