@@DynastyLeagueFootball I couldn't be swayed by a 2025 2nd and 2025 3rd this week in a competitive SF, so I agree with you. Though that the two were projected to be late also really hurt that offer.

I'd be willing to chalk it up to that offense and how they churn RB's. CMC is still infinitely better. If he doesn't wind up on IR this weekend, he's gonna be back and it'll be his backfield. Mason makes sense if you have the wealth of assets to get him higher than you should, or if you can still get him for like a 2nd.

@DynastyLeagueFootball like the other guy said: in the sense that 49ers RBs are always valuable. In a vacuum, CMC is worlds better than Mason. But achilles tendonitis is definitely a sticky and lingering injury on one of the most crucial body parts that an RB needs. I'm just pessimistic about CMCs outlook. The 49ers system allows for Mason to succeed and if they win without CMC, then they have even less incentive to rush him back until he's 110% ready. FULL DISCLOSURE: I also have PTSD as a former Todd Gurley owner so there's a bit of that mixed in too 😄

I would agree that Mason could be an RB1 if CMC was out for the rest of the year, but we don’t know that and CMC could play the rest of the year. I also don’t believe Mason is the long-term answer to the Niners RB1 without CMC. He himself could leave SF before CMC does after next year and I doubt he signs anywhere as an RB1.

I do not want Watson at all. I’d rather pay that for Levis or Nix or pay more for Baker/Stafford/Rodgers

What a weird deal… on paper I’d take Chandler because both he and Bigsby are handcuffs, so you get a free 3rd. But if you want to keep Bigsby because you have Etienne, then that’s fine.

Not imo, they’re both pretty much the same.. Bigsby might have more “value” upside but not really much more than this unless Etienne got hurt.
