A wee fact, this artwork was presented by William Hogarth as a gift to King George II, but he rejected it for its insulting portrayal of the army. So it was instead gifted to Frederick the Great of Prussia, who did like it.
@@NZC_Meow Why wouldn't George II like the painting? I suppose it makes his guards regiment look like a rabble. He would have been used to stoic martial paintings depicting his soldiers as sturdy and disciplined.
@@Cicero1689 If I'm not mistaken RU-vid has an office in Dublin who often take down Loyalist content. There was a serious nuking around 5 years back when relentless03's was deleted completely; thousands of videos, millions of views, years of work all gone. NI MLA's were even highlighting it but of course nothing was done.
