It's easy to get caught up in conscious incompetence when you are hyper aware of the intricacies and nuances about a subject. I find often that people who objectively are at a lower competency level than me have a lot more confidence in their abilities. Confidence is a lot more indicative of success than pure competence.

Good point, dude. In creating challenger brands like Oatley and Liquid Death they call this intelligent nativity as entrepreneurs can break more rules when they're not aware of the rules. In this video, I'm talking more about how the sum of the parts (a generalist) is greater than the individual parts ( specialist experts). For example, Dr Seuss's parts ( talents) e.g. his illustrations, poetry, storytelling, and creativity skills are greater than hiring a specialist expert to fill each of these roles. Specialists' egos compete with each other which lessons the outcomes.
