Congratz! This is the WR me and my friend were going to go for next time we managed to get some time off. I believe this score is a "True" WR and can't be beaten, since the max score is limited by the cooking output. MAYBE a close to frame-perfect run can get a 322, but I doubt it. Congratz!
Ha, thanks! I think best you could do is serve the first plate early enough to still get a tip and still get all of the soups out, but I am not sure if that is actually possible.
Seems that you could because at the end you had one cut ingredient and 3 uncut ingredient taken out. The extra time used to take out and cut these unused ingredient can be used to serve the first dish earlier.
fonpotter they couldve started their first pot earlier to have time for one more pot. Getting out 50 onions at the start is NOT efficient, the limiting factor is waiting on soups to cook. See how they had extra onions and chopped veggies at the end? That was the time they wasted getting those at the start instead of getting the first 3 chopped onions cooking. They also waited forever to send out dishes, reducing the point totals per dish from 26 down to 22. They couldve earned a lot more points just by not leaving plated dishes on the counter. This is only the world record because there is no competition.
Coach McQuirk, they didn't waste time at all taking out those onions since the timer doesn't start until the first dish is served (notice on the bottom right hand side of the screen). Since they only have 2 plates and 1 pot, they can only prepare 3 ready-to-go soups during that free time they have, and the only logical thing left to do while exploiting the fact that the timer hasn't started is to take out and cut the onions.
There's a new website for it! Check out overcooked.greeny.dev/ - they don't have scores for Overcooked 1 yet, but that's where all future scores will be held.
jamie adams timer on the first level doesn’t start till the first order has been served. For every other level it starts immediately, this is the one exception
