I mean with your name, you just had to play that game. Seriously though, i love how your creativity and playfulness just always shows, no matter which game you touch.
Big fan of you guys, clockner and rabbit's respawn! When you're kissing each other's ass, I just know you guys are the best! Complete opposite of the fake controversy generating other youtubers are known for! Clockner x Rabbit's Respawn
I am dissapoited of lack bleeding and or internal organs in this game, only slow bleed is then you cut someone throat and they dingle-dangle clawing for their slipping life, other then that every other kill is instal death, no bleeding, broken limbs or internal organ damage.. P.S: Do you know what insanity is ?
Like John Wick movies, many of these area fights are one cuts which makes these so incredible to watch where as Taken film have 18 cuts for climbing one fence.
@@arutzuki2491 I agree with you. Modern action film industry is so shit that a mediocre film like John Wick is considered impressive compared to everything else
@@thekingoffist3610 Well, I think they also recently added a second significantly smaller campaign. The steam workshop for the game is also somewhat active, so that's something, at least. edit: Third campaign, I think.
Osomatsu can't 『stand』losers. Even if it’s old it looks so much better and it’s quite impressive considering its age. The animations and physics are freaking awesome and smooth
Yknow, your comment fits this not just because of the face Neo makes in your profile picture, but because the vast majority of Neo's lines in the Matrix were questions. Like this.
It's a shame because this game was a technical masterpiece during the alpha stages and David was creating gameplay systems nobody else had before. But development took so long these systems have already been met and surpassed by other developers and the once acceptable graphics are now severely dated.
Veritan I don’t know about you, but I haven’t seen combat this interesting in any game that’s come out in the last 5 years. Or at least, I can’t think of any off the top of my head
To be clear: Overgrowth is HARD. I could barely fight decently on the easiest setting. To be ROFL stomping through the levels like this requires both a LOT of practice and some god-tier skills.
@@Eggsecuter It recently went into 1.0 with a complete campaign and full support for player made content. It also has some little extra things like an arena. Overall it's okay now. Still getting a few more updates methinks.
Hard to learn, easy to master. This video is showcasing kind of easy mode tactics, it's more challenging and fun to stand toe to toe and fight enemies, blocking and dodging etc not just jump kicking.
@@Avratin GUYS I LOVE MMA, AND I'M REALLY SAD THERE ARE NOT MANY MMA GAMES, THE LAST ONE I PLAYED IS SLEEPING DOGS which isn't an mma game but still CAN PLEASE SOMEONE RECOMMEND GAMES LIKE THIS, BECAUSE I NEVER HAVE SEEN THIS BEFORE AND IM MAD
I was there at the beginning of the great 'Rabbit Respawn Drought'. It was gruelling and we lost people, but we made it through. Glad to have more people on board this train.
This game looks crazy. I didn't even know it existed. Might give it a try but hopefully they'll make a sequel because I've never seen combat mechanics like this and they could be updated even more
Good old Overgrowth. I made a flying mod for it about 6 years ago that I think is still alive by the magic of the community. Trailer for the mod remains the most popular clip on my channel.
"What the fuck do you mean he keeps drop kicking you all in the face?!?" "I mean he keeps drop kicking us all in the face!" "Even the wolves?!" "Especially the wolves!"
hell yeah. i randomly noticed i had this game in my steam library one day and installed it expecting to get a chuckle out of a crappy furry game. turns out its freaking awesome.
@@JRayC I wonder if there's a dismemberment/gibbing mod for this game. That would be great! A game that's equal parts adorable and vicious? Sounds like a win-win.
There's a GDC video around where the creator of the game explains from the ground up how he made the procedural animations for the game. He emphasized on making it cheap (for indie use) and most importantly, uninvasive, the animations don't alter the gameplay.
i love it so much when games have cool movement options like the super far jumps, wallruns etc in this game. why are these amazing features so rare in games? they allow for so much creativity and fun!
I had so much fun with this game back in the day, still looks pretty decent. The combat was actually pretty slick considering what it was trying to accomplish in the early 00's.
this reminds me of "Arifureta: From Commonplace to the World's Strongest" Bunny kid: "Ive thrown away my weak name along with my past, please call me 'Baltoferd of Certain Death'"
I played this long ago when it was named Laguru, or something along those lines, on my Dads Macintosh. Talking atleast 2004. It’s amazing this games developers have stuck through such a long development.
Man, it's amazing to see this game still... Hopping (heh) after years of development. I first came across it maybe back in 2011, still a freshman in high school, looking for a cool physics based ragdoll-heavy combat game. This had it all, but my parents iMac couldn't run it. Good times.
I remember watching this one dude make this game on RU-vid years ago. The blood effects are so cool. Nice to see it get some love from a channel such as yours. Awesome gameplay
