Oh my, that's too bad. My parents traveled with us, and then once I hit 15, I was off and running. Started traveling completely on my own from 17 on. Nothing like it. However, you want to make absolutely sure someone knows where you are at all times, and of course, have eyes in the back of your head, and do your best to not look and act like a tourist. Don't be a target.

You should be so proud of your self Romee. I actually cried watching this video. When you put the visor down on your helmet it did something to my heart. Iam 51yrs old and got a motorcycle license when I was 16yrs even before getting a car license. But I never traveled like you are doing. Such a brave young lady. I have 3 grandson's and 1 granddaughter in a few days it will be 2 granddaughters. I hope all my granbabies travel and just lead lives that make them happy. You are amazing. Enjoy all that you can. I find travel at this age in Asia (Cambodia,Thailand Laos) to be rather easy . I have found These countries have respect for older people just in general culturally . As for travelling alone sometimes it's a bit tough . But you are often not alone for long , plenty of people to meet in fact about 9billion some times we have to really challenge yourself. But I feel that's part of it , being alone can teach you so much about yourself and prove you are are capable and resilient beyond your thoughts. And as I travelled all over Asia my fear of "getting lost" left quickly as I realised that the only way I could actually get lost was to float off the earth . There is always someone to help you find your way 😉. Happy travels xxxx
This comment! I'm a nurse and am so worried about her HR. She really needs 24 hour monitoring just to see what is going on. An echo which is a ultrasound of her heart to see how the heart is pumping. Heart health is so important. Hope she gets it checked soon.

My 27 year old daughter went to India 🇮🇳 alone…we are from Mexico City and as a mum I was freaked for all you hear…she was scared but made it and it was a great experience for her!! We had gon to many parts of Asia and went to Cambodia they are really nice people!! You are brave but you are going to be very satisfied with yourself when you get home!! I am a lifelong solo female traveller - now 64 and still going. Also a mum to two daughters who also love travelling - so I understand all the comments below. BUT! I am a big believer that we need to live life to the fullest. Just be safe. If you haven't already done it, if you put *#06# on your phone keypad, up comes all your device details. Take a screenshot and email to yourself and loved ones. So if anything should happen, or if anyone has concerns, your phone can be pinged straight away. Takes much longer if people don't have that information. Just little things like that can make all the difference. Safe travels x

Eating and drinking off the marketplace, driving a moped are all activities that potentially can lead to health related issues. Ending up in a hospital in a strange country would not be fun. I wish you best of luck.
Romee, please get your heart checked. Anything over 100 is too fast. At 175 or even at 150, I would be going to the hospital. I don't know if this is because you were sick or if it is the result of chemo but I don't want anything to happen to you. Please get medical help. I want you safe. You have come so far so please don't let this heart thing get worse. There are meds that can help.
I too worry about your heart rate that high. As a nurse, i think you should get it checked at that rate. Your heart could go into a fatal, abnormal cardiac arrhythmia. Be smart !!!
When I was young enough to travel alone, I was way too poor to travel 😂😂. Now that I have enough money to do a little traveling, I feel like I am too old to travel alone, at least internationally. Good for you, safe travels and hope you have a great time.

I was lucky enough to see the Irrawaddy dolphins in 2007. I loved Cambodia. I also travelled alone I'm a.middle aged women. Loved Angkor . Battenberg had a bamboo railway ( google )it was an amazing smaller place , access through lake river seeing floating and stilt homes. Enjoy xxx

Romee!! You have depleted your store of minerals by over hydrating. With plain water! You need to get them replenished as it can cause a heart attack. High heart rate indicates that. There is a very good hospital there.

ROMEE, i admire your love for adventure,you are like my husband,just go for it,nothing we shouldnt try😂 I was born in the Netherlands,live in Canada for 45 years,That was my first big adventure emigrating with 4 little kids to Manitoba,and I did that well,no problem as long as I know where I am. I have learned to do some things with him but oh my,i am 73 now and do want to but I get lost even in my own surroundings and hate lonely places,had too many scary things happening. I know one is warned about eating local street food, but it's such an integral part of any countries culture, I think you are missing out if you don't try it. One of those calculated risks in life, that I have always found to be worth taking.
I'm happy to see you having fun. But Romee, I get a little nervous when you venture out in such secluded areas alone. You never know what freaks you might encounter. Be careful and take care of yourself :)

I love how you're deciding to travel around the world but I agree with the comments, going alone to places where there is no people is so dangerous. The world can be cruel when you're alone as a woman and sadly I had friends that were not lucky and even appeared on the news a few years ago (they were brutally murdered). Please be more careful and try to go to known and full places for your own safety.
if you get desperate with laundry again. I live in the desert and if i cant make it to town, you can just soak it in the tub or sink overnight with laundry soap, wring out and hang.
Romee, Cambodia looks very nice from what I can see from the video. At least, you can enjoy the hot and sunny weather and sand unlike me who is stuck in Canada with snow and cold weather. Enjoy your stay there!

I hope you exercise caution. I spent 6 years in filipines. Overall amazing place, fantastic people, but you need to be careful and stay safe. They see you as walking money a lot of times in those countries, and it can get ugly and dangerous so fast. I would recommend a stop in the filipines. So amazing there
If you are having health issues I think you need to go home. I worry you being alone. I know my granddaughter was in college and she was over to those countries even in africa and gunshots around where she was staying.

Romee, are you using US dollars on all your travels? I notice you have a US $10 bill in Cambodia and you mention "dollars" so often that now I'm curious! I assumed you would need to exchange cash in each country or have an international credit card that works in many places.
In Cambodia, US Dollars are accepted in most places, sometimes even preferred over Cambodian money. In Thailand, either the hotel accepted dollars (normal stores don't but some international hotels do) or she just converted it for us to get an idea of how much money she's talking about :)
I literally have to give myself a pep talk just to go to the grocery store in my own home town that’s a few blocks from my house 😂?! I’m scared to drive alone the 7 hrs it takes to visit my children & then to drive in the big city where I know I will be lost because I live in a town with 2 stoplights 🚦🚗. Romee, I just saw this video on RU-vid: Must-Know safety trips for traveling solo (MaddieGold). Please do watch this, I found it to be very helpful and informative. There are wonderful tips for keeping safe when anyone is traveling alone. MG has been living in Mexico for awhile and she knows what works for her in everyday life. I enjoy seeing your videos and finding cool places to visit on your travels.

I love how there are so many concerned mama bears on here, thinking about your welfare. You are very loved Rommee. Yes always be cautious (be aware of your environment, don't do things like walk around alone at night), but enjoy your experience and be proud of yourself for doing this on your own. Stay in high frequency and that's all you can attract. You hve everyone's support and blessings ❤️
