Hi, my name is Romee (pronounced Romay). I'm a 26 year old media creator, currently living in the Netherlands.
I make travel and lifestyle content and try to cross things off my bucketlist! From getting my first tattoo to moving to New Zealand to bungee jumping into the water.
However, I've been unfortunately faced with cancer, so I've also started documenting my journey on that.
I hope to be a voice and a (digital) friend, for those who need it.
I'm 57. Not formally diagnosed as it can take up to 5 years in England. But to me its obvious. Now I understand myself and my quirks. It all makes sense. I now don't care if it doesn't make sense to others. I don't think of it as a curse. I am resourceful, great in a crisis, etc. I have a good job that I've had for 35 years (30 years for my current employer) it is a vocation that involves problem solving all day every day. Suits me fine. I've now learnt not to eat carbs when I've got a difficult task to deliver. If i give in and eat carbs for lunch, I get terrible brain fog and start getting distracted. I live with 5 dogs instead of people. They don't care about my quirks. ❤ Romee - keep your head up and be proud to be different. ❤

In the mean time she has been visiting Santorini (Greece) and Morocco with Jeff, so safe to say that she is doing well after a few difficult months. People in the comment section don't need to worry about her.
Hey, dunno if you would see this comment already but I expirienced this severe headache twice 3 years ago and after the second time the pain didn't go away after landing. I was feeling it maybe for about half an hour after the flight and felt overall dizzy. I guess it's blood vessels tear up inside, but unfortunately I didn't fly anywhere since then to test any tips on soothing this pain. They say that you have to stay hydrated during the flight, stay away from any food before the flight, use nasal decongestant, ibuprofen maybe and try not to stress. I guess you have to keep your blood vessels narrow to prevent them from tearing up. Maybe someday I will test these tips but maaan, each time I felt this pain I thought I would pass out and never wake up.
We love you Romee and respect any decision to share or not share your life via blog. I am sorry you gotten so sick lately but you are wise to avoid large crowds. You can modify your life to enjoy the outdoors and outdoor dining as you make wise choices as a cancer survivor. It must be hard being as young as you are to feel limited but it is smart not be in denial of the risks of illness in this overpopulated world. We hope to get an occasional update from you, especially on your latest scans, if you can. You are so beautiful inside and out and we are all praying for you. Oh feel better Romee , so hard not feeling well. Get good doctors!!! If you are in the hospital try to ask for what you need, they get busy and will leave you if you if you don’t ask!

Rome life has a way of throwing curve balls at us. Sometimes we wonder why? I think it helps to make us stronger….hang in there….its ok to take a step back❤️
So you are mad with your bf because he does not have a wish list things to do like you, he accepted you when you had cancer when a sh1t tone of folks would not. Yet you still upset with him because he says he does not know what would be his "things to do" list.
Your Vlog was perfect. During Christmas season, it's nice to have a day that you don't have to buy gifts or rush to the store or think about the business.
