I got about 12 mpg and that was going up the mountain from Gilbert. We are gonna do the rhino lining on the camper at least once it’s fixed. Just to protect it and help seal it up from future leaks! Thanks for always commenting and watching!
Recently found your channel. Thanks for sharing the great content. I like your build as a more realistic option for building out an overlanding rig for someone like me (with few mechanical skills) versus something like a LMTV. What is the tip-to-tip length of your setup? I ask because I believe National Parks have length restrictions of 25 feet and I’m wondering your build exceeds that limit (in case I want to try something similar)? Thanks.
Thanks for following! We wanted an LMVT at one point but decided on the Kodiak to have something a little more comfortable. We are 26’ long, 13’6” tall and 17,500 lbs.
Stayed in 5th around town on the highways and rpm’s were perfect. Put her down in 4th up the mountain as normal and the truck ran the best it ever has. Got a little bit better fuel economy too
@Jensen Adventures With those oversized tires it changed your gear ratio, so that's why it wasn't happy. Now you can stay in the power band.👍 Do you have an overdrive switch on your truck?
