Overlanding Arizona 

Hello from Phoenix, Arizona! Thank you for the great video. A very good friend of mine is on the Maricopa County sheriffs Department technical search and rescue team. They are always pulling people out of those mountains with the helicopter. I trust that you carry a personal locator beacon with you. That’s the one essential piece of equipment that no one should be without.never trust a cell phone. The one I use is made by ACR. I chose that one for many reasons one is that there’s no monthly fee. It has a full 5 W of power so you can get out of a deep canyon or you can get a signal out of the snow covered canopy and also has a five-year battery And it uses three separate satellite consolations and it is part of the worldwide search and rescue network that over 88 governments of the world subscribed to there are many more reasons why to choose it over some of the satellite communicators anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for the video! Awesome video as always Bill and Deb. This was a epic adventure y'all really know how to show just how spectacular the landscape is. I hate that people want leave a place alone some people just have to ruin places from everyone else for no reason at all.

In all the miles and all the trails you've covered in your adventures that I have followed, this is the first time you explored somewhere that I've been. My father, brothers and I have crawled all over the Four Peaks and Tonto National Forest regions since the late 1960s and your latest video made me long for those days again. Great video as always!!

Thanks for taking us along! Very beautiful scenery. The cacti were incredible. We’ve made the trip from Knoxville to Nevada and back and I know what you mean about needing some time out of the drivers seat! We look forward to part 2!✌️

Having driven past Two Guns, AZ, several times, I never thought to stop. Unfortunately, while graffiti can be appreciated, it has its place; ruins are not one of them. But what do I know, just a native New Yorker. That aside, I was on the same Young-Globe Highway two days ago, returning to Phoenix, AZ, from Show Low, AZ, along the east Mogollon Rim road before Young, AZ. On my drive the roads were so slick, as it drizzled the entire drive, and there no longer were patches of snow on the roads but lots of slipping and sliding. The nation's largest cacti concentration is at the Saguaro National Park, just northwest AND southeast of Tucson, AZ. "In 2023, the International Dark Sky Association certified Saguaro National Park as an Urban Night Sky Place-only the ninth in the world and the second in the National Park system!" A must-see! that round about at 4peaks is convenient YES! But unfortunately there are idiots here in Phoenix who park there from the opposite direction either taking pictures or just parked. Most of these rigs are always short travel vehicles. Always blocking the road for guys with longer travel vehicles or someone towing.

Hey, Bill. Curious if you regeared after your lift/tire install and now towing the camper? I am currently towing a Missions Overland with my Mojave with 35s, stock lift. But we are looking to go to a slightly larger camper. Just curious what you did and how you like it. Thanks!
