Awesome video once again! This is our next camping area as soon as I can get a few days off in between wells. Hopefully I’ll get to find this same spot, looks amazing. Can’t believe I’m only 4 hours away from this area.

Great video! Man, that happy, tingly feeling you get when you find a sweet spot and nobody’s there! Work and family stuff has me tied up into next weekend, after that I’m headed out for a few days. I don’t know if you’ve ever gone out there last weekend of September, especially around the southern end past Cloudcroft, but it is absolutely worth it. just kick back at night and listen to the elk bugle. Usually full in rut then and it’s awesome.

@@bfm_overland They don’t locals hunting either! I could go a whole rant about NM and the draw! I’m going north this time, that’s about as far into the planning I’ve gone. I always tend to go south. Maybe Chama area. I always have my ZOLEO with me. Love that thing. I’ll tell my wife my general direction and then, wherever I end up for the night I can just send the “check in” message that has the GPS coordinates. It’s a big plus, don’t have to stick to any route or plan.
