Fourth episode of our summer Romania's mountains exploration trip.
Following the trail of Romuli - Zavoaiele Borcutului - şaua Batranei, meeting some German overlanders along the main ridge route of the Rodna Mountains - a long pass between Rotunda and Setref, and finally continuing our trip according do plan despite we were warned things may not go as expected...

Amazing, nail-biting stuff! There are so many “off-roading” channels on RU-vid but they don’t capture the adrenalin and terror of doing it on your own like this video does! I drive a Defender too and watching this, those feelings are all too familiar! Can’t wait to see how you get out of it!

Hi, i found your videos few days ago, i live in a village near Gutin mountains , the track from Calinesti -Sapanta and forward , is very popular for overlanding and off road , last summer i went to sapanta with my suzuki and i climb the big rock ,and a choose a differit forest road to reach in a town, that you climb in the first episode, until this pandemic in the 2018 2019 2020, we meet with people from France who are hiking with a tent on a back, some czech with big nissan patrols, from slovenia slovacia with cars very prepare for overlanding. I hope you like this part of my country , in this region the people are helping each other , Always is a pleasure to see people from other country visit our beautiful places from Maramures , Bucovina

This is truly and really good episode that conveyed to me all that adrenaline mixed with the fear of rolling over 💗, far from anyone who can help you in the current situation ( also having a 110 Defender). I look forward to the next episode 🤓, or in other words i am now impatient 🤩. It would be interesting for me to see on the topographic map🗺️ where you are driving🚐 so I have a complete picture of your adventure in Romania 🇷🇴 and in other countries you have visited and documented with great videos 🎥 and storytelling🎙️.

Es cierto. Creí que volcabais. Tu insistencia te saco. Bravo!. Tu defender está muy preparado. Con la fuerza que empujaba y el desnivel que había tu motor está también aumentado de potencia supongo?. Y cuando sales de esa situación pusisteis reductora?. Gracias.

El motor tiene un mapa cambiado. No es un gran cambio de poder, sino una distribución de momentos mucho más agradable. Desde el principio estuve en el reductor; sin él, probablemente habría quemado el embrague ;) Solo estaba pasando de marchas más altas.
