Pretty good perk having info on family every yell giving you their location lets you know if you can rush getting tools or objectives it’s definitely underrated imo
The noise you can hear in the first game is a bug. I believe it happens when you are spectating someone and leave while they are doing a lockpick. To stop it, you can either lockpick a door yourself (getting to near the breaking point with a lockpick then letting it reset) or restart your game. These fixes have worked for me in the past.
Finally!!! I've been using this perk since day one and it never worked. Whenever grandpa would scream and you thought "oh its safe, he can't see me" boom all your charges are gone and you were no longer invisible
Ehh, doubtful... As Cook, I usually use my ability towards the end of/right after grandpa moans, since victims tend to think it's safe and begin to move and make noise... Instant pings haha! Who knows though, it certainly is a useful perk to have
@Ruru-bb9gb I can confirm as cook I listen less. Cooks will naturally listen less when gramps is yelling. So he's right in saying statistically you'd get away with this as Julie alot with this perk

Exactly what the devs hoped for with all these patches - more stealthy gameplay and ultimately longer matches. I have to say that the emphasis of slower gameplay and higher tension vs the rush rush rush current play attitude with DBD is so f*cking refreshing. Beautiful ❤
Nice patience with johnny at car batt in the last game. You were pretty locked in. Good shit. Only thing I noticed was that while you were talking at 15:05 you may not have noticed johnny finding your footprints. You did start crouching before he found your footprints but you had to sprint because cook and johnny were coming to check car battery and you sprinted into the bushes so that's why johnny was able to find wear you hid in the bushes like that. Once you saw him find your footprints again you should have relocated while cook was starting to move away, but other than that great last game. Smart and patient.
I was waiting for them to fix this perk since release. Using it with the radar and fusebox perk wich highlights the killers. Combine that with his main ability and you basically have wallhacks all day long😂
I’ve also been pairing this with Radar Detector with Sonny so grandpa yelling actually makes you stronger! Family has accused me of cheating or never seeing me in the match several times 😂
I found a crazy Johnny build man maxed fired up, scout, and big swings makes you crazy I'm telling you first match with them all maxed I got 4 kills couldn't have done it without one of your builds as a base tho thanks man
It’s like you just have no idea how bad of a play it is to latch doors. Especially when you leave them latched. Your teammates get chased later in the game and end up dying because of a latched door.
I've noticed that, these two often times make videos similar to each other. Maybe they have talks behind the scene, or have some telepathic hivemind giving them ideas for videos.
I stood still in the bushes waiting for hitchy boy to leave who was camping battery in my game then the game booted me back to the title screen & said I was idle too long 😔

I love Julie, and I like to play as her a lot, but the only thing I don't like about her, and they need to fix, is how the Family activate the "danger screen" even when they are far of us
Was wondering how long it’d take for some youtuber to do a video on this…. I found this out the day of aug 18th and since then had it run on my Julie and Sonny lol, gotta stay still on all sonars and play stealthy if you wanna make it till the end.
I was in the same predicament with family members camping The exit on family House, car battery. Guy was playing as sissy, and he literally just stood there and waited like five minutes until I came out of the bushes.
Let me reiterate....Originally you were able to go undetectable when you ran past Grandpa and you had a chance to stab grandpa as well without being seen but it took 2 charges. Now if you run past him you get detected and loose a charge(Bug). But now what works is you can run while his sonar goes off without loosing all your charges and if they fix the other issue then you can do some great sneaky plays. Plus The perk you're probably thinking was agitator.
You really cry bro? This perk has done nothing since release, bugged the whole time. Play Nancy or Johnny rn they're completely broken. In fact they purposely reverted Johnny back to broken, but sure devs favor victim gtfo😂
Leatherface has a one shot build, cook can spam his hearing ability, nancy has a perk that lets you get up to 8 traps… I can go on about how many advantages family has. Maybe try playing victim for once and you would see it
Yet Gun reverted the “Johnny lunge?” Finally the perk is working as intended… it’s called balance. Nancy can legit screen peek at level 3. I’m a family main but let’s be real, it’s becoming more balanced. Almost will guarantee that the new family member will be able to seal an exit to counter Danny
Honestly the game is in a pretty good place. Family think victims are overpowered and victims think family is overpowered. The only issues I have with the game have to exist because it is a game and not a movie. If you've been held captive and tortured your not outrunning someone who is in good health. I've never tried running and swinging a knife at the same time, but I'm pretty sure if I hit someone they'd be the ones to slow down not me.
