Fun facts: 1. Jircniv wasnt affected by Demiurge magic voice because of a magic item he was wearing. 2. When Fluder met Darkness[Momon and Nabe], Narberal Gamma was the first one to show her powers to Fluder by removing her ring[magic ring that seals/hide magic power]. Fluder already bowed to them just by seeing Narberal's power then Ain's followed up.

Fun Fact about overlord 101: -If you still haven't caught up, *Slane Theocracy* was the one who brainwashed *Shalltear* although not by intention. They were only defending themselves when *Shalltear* came out of nowhere. After trying to chase the people that escaped her, *Shalltear* went towards the wrong direction (the forest) in which where she encountered the Theocracy members, resting -*Jircniv* plans to make *Aura* and *Mare* betray *Ainz* by using their kin against him ( *Dark Elves* in the *'NEW'* world were like *Lizardmen* who live in remote areas. If you see a dark elf near humans, chances that the dark elves being a slave is extremely high.) Their thought process is that the twins would have empathy on their fellow dark elves, betraying *Ainz* little by little in the process. This resulted in *Mare* being extremely angry for the first time and suggested that they should attack the empire first

Another Fun Fact no one told here: All the food and drink produced/cooked in Nazarick are so well made that even if a normal human were to eat/drink something they will receive several buffs as result.

They even cut the part where the Emperor also brought in a carriage with many of the Noble's daughters he forcefully took from their families and intended as a gift to Ainz to serve as concubines. But after he saw not only the maids, but also the female guardians in the Tomb, he decided to just not present them at all and send them back to the empire as he deemed them to be too ugly compared to the woman of Nazarick. As well as the fun small detail where when Aura and Mare were at the Empire to discuss the apology meeting, they were given some of the finest drinks in the Empire, but they just passed it off as "bland", having Jircniv feeling anger. Up to the point where he was given the fruity looking drink here, and he suddenly realized why they would call the best drink of the Empire bland, as he never had tasted something as good as this. So many cool little details in the LN that really make those scenes that much more powerful. (also the fun detail that Jircniv still does not know Mare is actually a boy) It also explains why Jircniv did not kneel when Demiurge commanded all of them to do so, its not force of will, but merely an amulet he wears that prevents mind control effects. He keeps it hidden so nobody knows about it, but he himself thinks Ainz planned for Demiurge to use the mind effect on everyone to test if anyone had resistance/magic items. (even though it was just a fluke) I only just finished reading this part of the LN, but it really shows the situation in so much more detail, the entire time you really get the feeling that Ainz has everything planned out from the very beginning, and is moving Jircniv as a puppet, Even Jircniv himself feels that is the case due to how quickly Ainz can respond to his questions and actions, as well as taking completely outrageous decisions that he himself could never have predicted (while taking great pride in his ability to usually predict and plan strategies) Only to then find out Ainz is completely in the dark and was just winging it the best he could, but due to his appearance, reputation and Demiurge's guidance it turned out so that he really looked like a mastermind, even though he himself has no idea what's going on.

aaah, it's 2 bad no-one noticed that Ains used his reheresed line from when he was practicing infront of the mirro : "I demand silence" :D

Fun fact: The girl who jumped into the carriage, Leinas Rockbruise, is suffering from an "incurable curse" that has left half of her face in a disgusting state, that yellow stuff she wiped off is pus oozing from her face. And she is the least loyal of all the knights to Jircniv, he believes she is trying to increase her value to eventually betray him to go to Ainz's side.

I just wanted to be friend with the emperor.

I love how Ainz was legitimately trying to be friends with the emperor but every move he made to try and be friends was done at the worst possible times so the emperor kept thinking he was an omniscient god that was deliberately ruining his plans. Spoilers: Ainz heads to the Empire and participates in a gladiator fight on the same day Jir was setting up a meeting between the temples and other nations to try and ally against Ainz. While Ainz was only there to spread word of his new adventurer's guild and show that with his backing (his plan was to kill the champion and revive him to show that adventurers working for him didn't have to fear death), adventurers can be proper adventurers instead of glorified mercenaries. Unfortunately, this caused negotiations to break down immediately so Jir's plan was ruined instantly. So he was hoping the arena's champion could beat and maybe kill Ainz and was pretty much screaming whenever the champion managed to land a hit. But Ainz just thought Jir was a really big fan of the champion and thought "dang it at least cheer for me too. Though I guess it's like rooting for your home team in sports." Finally at the end Jir submitted and asked the empire be a vassal state and while he didn't show it, Ainz was so shocked that he didn't agree then and there saying "it's too risky to verbally agree. Write it down and send it later" because he was scared that he would mess up and Demiurge or Albedo would realize he's not all that smart (which didn't happen, it's revealed later that Ainz sped up Demiurge's plan and after hearing it only took 3 days and no casualties for Ainz to get the empire as a vassal state, he felt fear as even to someone as smart as him, that was impossible to do). Ainz's only take away from this all was "dang it I heard you, you didn't cheer for me at all! That's not how friends should act!" and "now my adventure guild will be like the ones in books and games."

I feel like the author of overlord chose sorcerer king over supreme king because he wants to give the narrative that ainz believes his friends are on that world too so he doesn’t want to disrespect them by claiming to be the supreme king instead claiming a title that he can almost guarantee belongs to him

Yes, yes... Jircniv's greatest plan was betting his soul at the possibility that Ainz' servants will betray him. LOL To be fair, he has no idea how much they revere Ainz. So he doesn't know his plan is doomed to fail.

But guys ainz actually wanted to be king buddy with jircniv. It is revealed in light novel volume 10 , ainz wanted to know how king acts from jircniv.

I hate to be that guy, but this is one of those episodes where I would really recommend reading the novels if you want a much deeper insight into the thoughts and actions of the characters that didn't translate well/make it into the anime. Easily one of the best moments in the entire series for me.

The future of mankind is actually with Ainz. *SPOILER AHEAD* The kingdom that Ainz make later on is perfect, really good economy, no crimes, no corruption, low price of food since they use skeletons and monster for labor and dont need to pay them so everything is cheap for citizens, soldiers are way stronger and better than normal soldiers because they use Death Knights as soldiers.

Did they forget about Season 1? What happened to Shalltear? She got mind controlled by a *World Class Item*, unsuccessful usage of the item withstanding, and that should give anyone alarm/caution because of that fact alone. The Emperor banding everyone together _is_ something to be cautious about, regardless of how overwhelming powerful Ains is.

I think Ainz choose Sorcerer king because magic is the one thing he is confident in. He doesn't believe that he is clever enough or amazing enough for Wise king and Supreme king. The other titles like beauty king or love king are just too embarrassing to use.

Guy in the top right gives ONE of the TWO stories of what happened to Arche's sisters. In the original story, so before the official light novel i believe, Shaltear was ordered no to kill Arche but that was all. She took her and overall remade her into her dog. In the words of this Arche "I ate what i was told to eat, I drank what i was told to drink, and i licked whatever Shaltear wanted." Which yes means she was used for Shaltears sexual pleasure as Shaltear overall prefers women since no men can measure up to Ains. HOWEVER after a good chunk of time passes Arche is summoned to Ains chamber where she has a brief thought of trying to kill him, this sparks Shaltear to apologize and offer to kill her on the spot. Ains refuses and says she has worked for Shaltear for x amount of time and should be rewarded. Arche actually begs Shaltear to fuck her, shes essentially been edged for years now. Ains is shook since he doesnt really know whats been done to her and asks if there isnt something else she might want? He then brings in Arches two sisters, alive and overall well. He commands that Arche and her sisters be given a cottage on one of Aura's protected floors where they can live the rest of their lives in peace.
