Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

Of course he's not. It'd be kinda dumb while sporting the 70's Porn Star hair style, go and hop in ice cold water that's gonna make any pecker instantly turn 'turtle-head'...leaving him looking like one of those chicks that looks like a dude, except they ain't got a pecker...except he does have one (I would think so anyway, but I have no way of really knowing, only it's turtle-headed itself where its warm and stuff.

I'm wondering...what would you feel if you had a stroke and cancer 6 months apart like me...what would you feel? I don't believe your depression and anxiety..I believe you're lazy to appreciate the blessings that God gave you...When a real physical sickness happens to you and they will, then you'll be sorry that you didn't enjoy those times when you are well physically

My grandmother used the greens of the dandelion like you would spinach. She only picked them early in the spring. She picked all sorts of edible weeds.

Same here. I use dandelion leaves added to salads if I've got them. They are a yummy salad green, but you do have to wash them a few times. the way the leaves grow seems to collect dirt. I've heard of people making dandelion wine, but I've never tried it. Those pancakes look good, though!

Absolutely love your shows. Been watching your excursions for some time now. I'm from Scotland and until about 15 yrs ago I had never heard of bushcraft. I just called it natures larder and survival. See i was brought up in a hut my dad built during the Clydebank blitz of WW2( no electricity, gas or running water) water came from the stream, food came from the garden, meat was hunted and me and brother would forage for mushrooms, nuts and all the good stuff the land offered. Log burner in the main room with bed and sofa, kitchen and a tool room at the back. Been collecting alot of stinging nettles as you know are a super food (ate or brewed).Would you not agree that nettles have more beneficial property's than the dandelion? So if you ever fancy a trip to Scotland to do some videos then you have my hut and my knowledge of the area and lay of the land and maybe we could learn from each other. Thinking of making RU-vid channel as this is something I need to learn as not great at these things. I mean it if you fancy a holiday in Scotland just say and my hut in the country is yours. I'd have been peeling off layers so fast! Most likely ending in a blooper clip of more bandages needed, because I'd have forgotten to untie my boots and been yanking on my jeans to get them off, tumbling down the hill through a rosehip bush, splashing into the waters edge still cussing at my boot laces imprisoned in the now inside out jeans. Gasping for air and almost drowning! Glasses now busted and lost I'd have blurred vision trying to regain some composure with my now shivering wreck of an attempt, but it would have been an attempt none-the-less!

Very cool to see you sharing your time with the ladies and they had a great spending time with you. They also took lots of pics and video footage of their adventure to share with friends. Finn loved their company as well and I’m sure he’s going to miss them . The silence that follows after the goodbyes are said ,always sets in fast when good company has to go home . Thanks for sharing Greg .
