Improved visibility for sure. CS2 is brighter in colour usage and lighting. Also the textures are less busy. It's not as realistic as CS:GO but I like it!
Such a small detai l that I still think is cool is the fact that they change the basic "used-to-be-everywhere-before-the-2010s" water fountains to the newer water bottle refill ones. That's cool.
I used to play CS like.. 2 years back? And this lowkey just disappoints- I will say I'm proud of them for re-texturing everything, but I can't say I'm happy with the quality of the retexture. To me it just looks like they grabbed the old one, got some graphic design student without much qualification to put it back together with a new engine, and then placed their work in the game again, only hiding the shoddy retexture behind good lighting and shaders, I hope the gameplay is at least a little better.
They removed many features like Danger Zone which was the only mode i played in this game, viewmodel and many many more i can't think right now. It's likely they added those things back but how long will it take? Probably months
I'm smoking a map with actual soul put into it instead of a generic map with everything turned into a reflective surface for no reason and saturation dialed to 100@@Deez-ul6uw
yes but I mean them purposefully replacing almost every surface with materials that would be shiny, just to make it look like "good graphics" or something, the world doesn't have shiny tiles and reflections everywhere@@Deez-ul6uw
@@nightthemoon8481 csgo version is overcast and has that hazy summer feel to it while cs2 is completely blown out colors wise and has cartoonish lights placed everywhere, also the entire grungy look of the map is gone everything looks brand new
